Shadowscale Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Can't figure out how to make this a poll... But anyhow which do you prefer? I used to do remodeled armors, but after using it for so long I just prefered the more vanilla armor looks.
bradleyh Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I prefer Vanilla looking with higher resolution textures and cleaned meshes, I dislike inch thick collars. I think bounce should be something a section of plate never does, but clothing should be designed to show. My Favorite Modded Armor has been Silverlite since Oblivion, and I have even added it to Morrowind.
Guest Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I guess the problem with remodeled armor mods for me is that they're mostly about extraction rather than augmentation. The emphasis is on revealing more skin, which is fine with me, but all that means in real terms is the exact same looking armor, only less of it. Gamefever's recent UUNP conversion of the high polygon vanilla armor mod has got me thinking I might go back to vanilla sets, but I plan to mix them up a little. I very much like some of the mini armors, particularly the clothing, but I would like to go back to a full ebony set rather than the hard shelled bikini types. The thing is, I don't generally settle for vanilla armors for long before going with the many nice custom ones I have loaded, so I'm not sure I'd find it very painful to go back to vanilla.
