JustTankIt Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 After a break from Skyrim I recently decided to return in order to try out some armor/weapon mods. When stepping out from the house my character stayed in (in order to go to another house I have a habit of staying in when cleaning saves with the PDTWrapper) I noticed the terrain was rather off - image 1, image 2. The problem persists when reactivating mods I've tried and on previous saves. In one case I also had a CTD when trying to load into the world. Can anyone right off the bat make a suggestion to what might be causing this? EDIT: After some thought I reinstalled the whole game and my mods. Old folders were filled with everything from ScriptDragon files to Steam subscriptions, hence cleanup was badly needed anyway. I was surprised to see the problem persist afterwards, and it seems it was caused by "corrupted" skyrim.ini or skyrimprefs.ini settings in Documents\My Games\skyrim and/or MO. Just throwing this out there for those having a similar issue. Verifying the game files may also be a good idea.
