CNKTHoward Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I installed bodyslide 2.8, created the meshes with a cbbe based body preset with racemenu morphs for:* uunp special * uunp hands * uunp feet (xpmse) Then I got into the game, created a new character and made the screenshot. There is no other mod overwriting either the bodyslide 1st person meshes or the generated body meshes.
ousnius Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Are you using a custom race, or a mod that does some things with 1st/3rd person behavior?
CNKTHoward Posted October 2, 2015 Author Posted October 2, 2015 No, nothing... But your questions brought me on the right track. I was using the UUNP conversion of CT77's remodeled armor, using the legendary esp from the main 7B mod. Although there is no mod overwriting my body meshes in either 1st or 3rd person, activating the esp resulted in the gap... I still don't know why, but at least I now got a way to elude this problem... On a related topic, is there anything to do if I have a (admittedly barely noticable) seam between the body and the hands? I'll append a screenshot showing the problem - I hope you can see it. It's easier to see on the left hand.
Lein Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Just came across this because I was having the same issue after building a UUNP body and making sure I had the UUNP first person meshes activated for the hands and body. Indeed, it was the same mod responsible and after checking the esp files here is a bit more info on the cause, ChronoTrigger alters the default NakedTorso to use the 3rd person model in place of the 1st person. this has probably had me complaining about many an armor conversion when the gloves didnt line up with bare arms in first person.

Copy/paste and rename the femalebody and femalehands NIFs to the 1st person ones after you built them in BodySlide.
