Recently I did a fresh install of skyrim and ofcourse I had to mod the shit out of it. I am using NMM, loot, wyre bash and tess5eidt. Noone of the programs listed shows any kind of errors. But still I get ctd. I start a new game, play 20min-30min and bang - CTD! I tried my best but couldnt figure out whats wrong... JRCosta Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 Get those files: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50305/? and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50471/?, for some reason I had a similar problem (CTD from time to time) and after install both file the issue is gone, worth a shot. Read the description to know how to install properly. Give it a stress test and, if you can, watch Gopher's video in the Memory blocks description to understand what you are adding to your game

JRCosta Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 OK, let's try other approach: do you have this installed as well? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38649/? and make sure your ENB settings are tweaked correctly: http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENB I also suggest you to optimize your loose/BSA mod textures with SCMO (to save VRAM and improve global performace): http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13529/? Last advice is to have your Graphic Card drivers updated. If you use NVidia, please check nvidia inspector, it has a Skyrim profile that is truly useful if you experience fps drops neat waterfalls or in the civil war city sieges.

Guest Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Two things: 1. SKSE memory patch needs to be enabled by editing the skse.ini file. http://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender 2. Crash on startup is a sort of common issue when you save in a cell where there's a lot going on. If you first load a save from when you were in a small room, you should be able to load your later save then. Generally people get the CTD when loading from the menu, not when loading from an already open save.
