Mod organizer won't remove Dragon Combat Overhaul

As the title says, I am trying to remove Dragon Combat Overhaul from Mod Organizer. When I click remove mod, and answer yes when it asks if I really want to remove this mod. I get

 

"The action can not be completed because the folder, or file in it is open in another program."

 

Normally I would just leave the mod activated in the mod list, but Mod Organizer activates DCO every time I start, and then exit Skyrim. This is starting to cause some major performance problems. If I remember to deactivate DCO before I start Skyrim everything is fine. If I don't The main menu won't appear, and my system slows down to a crawl. Even after I CTRL+ALT+DEL out of Skyrim My system is still crawling along.

 

Hopefully someone has some insight on this because I'm lost.

Ok so I got DCO removed from Mod Organizer. Apparently there was an instance of TESV.exe still running. Now I have to figure out how to fix that.

Ok this problem is fixed.

If you have similar problem, you can check Mod Organizer\mods\ directory, that's where it installs them.
