Naver Cafe Mod Request Thread

I actually have found out how to register there, but it still won't let me access all of the mods since it won't take an American phone number I guess. I just made a Line account and used that.
So does anyone have RRC Serana? OnO

I made it far into the registration gauntlet as well. I was able to register an account with the site using an american phone number. However once signed into Naver one must verify their age using either an I-Pin, which I don't know how to obtain because the Korean text there are all image files and cannot be Google Translated, or a Korean phone number. The number must be SKT, KT, or LG U+ which are all Korean carriers so I am stuck at an impasse unfortunately.

 

I'd love to get through and help all us poor people here with links, but the wall is too high to climb alone!

Others have tried in this thread before... you need a korean number and PIN and whatever else.

 

Or maybe you could message him on our behalf then?

Guys, it's more than just a Naver account.  There's actually a signup page in English, I've already registered and gotten an account.  The problem is, you then need an I-PIN, which is tied to a Korean citizenship number (which can be obtained by entering a Korean phone number, or installing an app on your phone, apparently).  Korea seems to mandate this due to "anti-bullying" laws that require Korean websites to tie user names to real names, in case the police come calling looking for someone who is harassing/bullying people online.

 

Unfortunately, the only way we are getting Cafe Naver downloads is if a Korean takes pity on us and re-hosts the mods, like that Uncle guy did about 10 pages back until his YouTube channel was cancelled for some reason, and he disappeared into the ether.

 

It pays to also monitor Nexus, some azn mod authors put their stuff up there after some time passes.  I haven't seen this yet with RRC, but most notably AiRenSilverFox's AR/"pure" girls went from a Cafe Naver exclusive to being dual hosted on Nexus as well.

 

Also as a PS to people here still looking for the "Marie Rose Race":  There was no playable race.  It was a poor translation of the description for RRC's Marie Rose follower (the follower has a "custom race", as do nearly all standalone followers...).  You should be able to find the follower download further back in this thread.

How did you do it though? O.O I'm trying to use Google Translate on Opera, but it's not working very well and I can't figure out how to comment. I would finish registering (I use a Line account), but I don't want to be banned again (I didn't even do anything like repost mods), and I've already used my phone for my previous account. I emailed him with an external email account, specifically Hotmail, just for the hell of it. Surprisingly, he responded and sent me the file explaining he never intended to release it to begin with.
