ltgun Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 I just need to tell this, “CNET reports that the Paramount Pictures produced a list of five “rogue” file-hosters, presented in a fancy graphic where Megaupload is crossed out. The prime targets on this shutdown list are Fileserve, MediaFire, Wupload, Putlocker and Depositfiles. – Torrentfreak“ I found this from a site i sometimes go to.
Guest Donkey Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 they should close cnet too they host sometimes illegal contents too. Anyway. To bad about mediafire it was the final place i uploaded my mods too. I don't do torrents since i got nasty virus from that.
gregathit Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 More nonsense. More stuff gets shared via torrents and other peer to peer networks than ever gets shared via mediafire or depositfiles. Fileserve/Wupload are already restricted to folks only able to DL what they themselves put up so it is a non issue. This is just more scare tactics and bullying.
ltgun Posted April 8, 2012 Author Posted April 8, 2012 I almost ask a PMC to take care of Paramount Pictures.
