hgosling Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Hi, I tried searching the forums to get a solution to my problem but failed, so I started a new thread: I dont really now why but suddenly my character has a gap between his hands and the lower arms. I noticed that the gap disappears when I change the body weight to 100. So my first suggestion was that there must be something wrong with bodyslide. I created two identical bodymeshes for low and high weight, but that didnt help either. Changing the weigth to something under 100 causes a gap. Weight 1 Weight 0
afa Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Your hand mesh isn't scaling along with it. You should check for similar issues with feet also. I think you can generating a set of hand and feet meshes with body slide to see if it can fix the issue.

hgosling Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 The strange thing is that the size of the wrists is not touched by bodyslide. The wrists on the low weight and high weight meshes do have the exact same size when I view them in bodyslide. I also copied over the bodyslide slider values from the high weight to the low weight mesh, so that both meshes are virtually the same. Still, when I change the weight in Skyrim the area around the wrist and around the neck gets scaled (neck scaling doesnt cause a gap). I also noticed that the position of sheathed weapons change a little bit when changing the weight.
afa Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Wait, if I am understanding you correctly and and now that I look at it more closely, unless it is some optical illusion. Your body is the same size regardless of weight(?) but your hands are the ones that got bigger? In that case replace the _1 hand mesh with the _0

It's the wrists that change their diameter. And yes, I use two identical bodymeshes for high and low weight.
hgosling Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 Okay I finally figured it out... after deleting the meshes directory in skyrim data directory, deleting the overwrite directory of MO and reinstalling Body slide I finally got rid of the bug.
