CasualBystander999 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 I have had no luck pinning down why, but it seems that the SykProc patcher for dual sheath redux is somehow flawed, or something is interfering with it. To be clear, i am using MO, and the following are my experiences trying to run the patcher in the ways that worked up until i tried to update it. The first sign was that SUM would not recognize the patcher, but it would recognize PaMa so it seemed it was not an issue with SUM. This was borne out when upon attempting to run the patcher itself, a window would pop up saying 'a java exception has occurred' and giving no further information. It will run outside of MO, but that of course largely defeats the purpose as it cannot patch for any of the mods i have installed. I have read every guide on DSR, MO, and SUM that google could give me, and i am no closer to understanding what is wrong. I call upon you, denizens of LL, markedly more helpful than the people of the Nexus, where lies my error? As well, if this is a known issue and i've just missed the thread explaining it, sorry.

I recenly had a issue with running out so i tried adding a argumant to it based off of what i have to run perma as but edited for dsr try adding this -Xmx1024m -jar "F:\Mod Organizer\mods\Patcher Hotfix\SkyProc Patchers\Dual Sheath Redux Patch\Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar" "-NOSTREAM" (change the directory label to w/e you have it installed) to dsr's argument section.
sila Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Do you have the skyproc patcher files on a different partition/hard drive than your mod organizer folder? Do you have Java installed? From what the error you mentioned is saying, it sounds like its probably one of those two things thats doing it.
CasualBystander999 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Everything i have is on one hard drive due to financial constraints, and java works fine for everything else. Other SkyProc patchers function perfectly through MO, but this one refuses to, which is what made me think it was something specifically wrong with the patcher, rather than the framework it needs to run. I suppose it might possibly be that my java is outdated... i will check on that at least. Edit: Well i feel a bit of a prat. It was the outdated java. Sorry for wasting your time, i really should have thought of that.
