I have an AMD Radeon HD A4-3320M APU 2.00GHz and 4.00GB of RAM but only 3.48GB of usable ram, running an HP Pavillion G6 Laptop, please help,I removed all of the mods I had on it besides the unnoficial patch and it still would not get past the slideshow before the main menu appears,I am also using ENB

Go to My Documents\My Games\Fallout 3. Move any saves out to a temporary location and delete everything else in the folder, then boot the game up again.

I always advise against using NMM. MO is probably a better system in the long run since it keeps the install directory clean, but there's really nothing wrong with using FOMM.

Do you run a 64 bit system? If so, did you take all the necessary steps to make Fallout 3 GOTY run on that system?

Also, did you download and install the 4GB mod?

This video shows you how it's done.

Thanks for the extra step,it worked but then the mods I reinstalled would not even show up in the game,I am reinstalling the game now and will reapply FOSE and the 4gb patch then and see what happens from there.

I run Fallout 3 as well as FNV on Win7x64 Pro, inumhwthreads=2 and bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1 settings are required as well as some form of archive invalidation. I never had to put FO3 in XP compatibility mode and most of the "threaded" settings at least for FNV are considered more problematic than helpful according to Queue, the author or NVAC, you can read on STEP site and decide for yourself. ;)

I also don't have any of my games or steam installed in the "program files" folder in order to avoid some permissions problems or having to run with elevated privileges with some older games, matter of choice.
