Animations Not Working

As the title suggests, for some reason the sex animations are not working. At least, sometimes they aren't working. I'll go through the dialogue, everything checks out, the characters go to trip, the game lags for a second, and then the two are just standing there, naked, moaning and making other assorted sex noises. And then when the animation was supposed to be finished, they just get dressed and walk off. They aren't in a T-Pose or anything, the animation just doesn't play and instead they just stand there not moving, not even idling. It doesn't happen all the time, but 6 or 7 times out of 10 it does. And sometimes one character is going through the animations and the other one isn't.

I've reinstalled Sexlab, Zaz, and FNIS multiple times, rearranged their order in Mod Organizer, and nothing I've tried has seemed to fix the problem. And all of them are up to date. And this wasn't happening a month ago when I last played the game. It only started after I updated and added mods from both here and Nexus this past week. I recall updating Sexlab from 1.59 to 1.60 and the 1.60 hotfix, grabbed a newer version of Sexlab Aroused, I believe it was Sexlab Aroused Plus, not Redux, and reinstalled Schlongs of Skyrim. I don't think Zaz had a newer update than what I was already using. Those are honestly the only mods from here that I either installed or update this past week. Everything else came from Nexus and it was mostly just new followers, some new locations, player homes, armor, and textures. I also updated Dimonized UNP.

I don't suppose anyone has a solution to get the animations working 100% of the time? It'd be a really big help.

Then it's in the new mods (or updated mods) you installed. Obviously.

I don't update stuff. Once I have a working game, and that's not hard to get, I keep it like that until I am done with what I am playing. Only then will I update anything. Try rolling back to the mod versions you were running before and then go back to an older, reliable save.

Did you rebuild the animation registry in the sexlab mcm?

I've done that quite a few times actually.

My guess is that Sexlab 1.60 is what did it. I'm not sure if I still have 1.59 and I don't recall seeing it when I downloaded 1.60. So if I can't find it on my computer, I'm hoping I can figure out how to get it back.

I've just experienced something similar - I'm running SexLab 1.60 beta with RC3 and everyting was running OK. Just noticed that you have recently updated SexLab aroused - I've just done the same. I had been running SexLab Aroused Redux 16 Loose and upgraded to 18 Loose so this might be the problem. I'll look at it later when I'm on my gaming machine.

Ashal has commented on similar posts that 1.60 is fully backwards compatible so that any problems are more likely to be with a mod rather than the framework, so it might be better to investigate those first rather than 'rolling back' the framework.

Well, I already did roll back the framework itself and that actually fixed it. When I first started it up the animatons still weren't playing correctly. Once I cleaned and rebuilt it though the animations started playing every time. I haven't had a problem since.

I've just installed sexlab 1.60 with hotfix 1. I also changed Sexlab aroused to 17 Loose and so far animations are running OK (at least for Defeat). Hope to get some more testing this evening on Solutions, Deviously Cursed Loot, Prison Overhaul, Radiant Prostitution and SexLab Working Girl

I've noticed that if other NPCs are too close or they were in a dialogue/interation with PC before the event the NPC will just stand there. To see if it is the first issue just relocate to a more open area during the animation.
