Question about custom bodys and textures for different NPCs.

How would I go about making different NPC's have different body types  like for an example I'd love to have one female be super curvy, another be athletic, etc.

Nude is easy. There are tutorials for it. You need to set up different nude sets for the NPC.

 

The BodyGen feature in RaceMenu could do that too. Even armors.

Needs a Body and armors that have the morphs (UUNP). And setting up the data for NPCs.

 

Edit. BodyGen is one Body, so no custom race stuff, that gets morphed to look like, lets say UNP,7B, etc.

To have different body types you have two options:

1) use different races (probably custom)

2) use a body skin specific for each NPC.

 

You can follow the Follower Tutorial Guide, to have some guidance for both.
