fides5566 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Hello, I have create NPC by using CK but it got makeup/face tint texture misplaced, as a picture below. I'm pretty sure that there is a problem from makeup layer because when I change cheek tint color to black, those misplace texture also turn to black. It appear that this problem also appear with vanilla NPC, like Lydia but the problem doesn't show up in game (Vanilla Lydia in my CK) In game vanilla Lydia (she look different because I using Envision mod). I have no idea to fix this problem, please help! My Skyrim version is 1.5 and CK is 1.4. My NPC mod had been convert to .esm file type and I had create character FaceGenData with CK. PS. sorry for my poor English.
fides5566 Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 Update, found the root cause. It because "Pretty Face Pack" mod, tint mask textures are not compatible with CK. It work fine when you edit your character in game using "showracemenu" command, but problem will showing up when you using CK. It will mess up tint mask texture of your character.
sbire Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 load your npc.esp with ck and change the UpperEyeSocket to Color Average. save your npc and export the meshes by highlighting the npc and use the ctrl+f4 shortcut. i has the same issue with all of my npc replacers and i got it everytime fixed. here's a picture of my version of "aela the huntress" (at the beginning there was the same issue) [spoiler=Aela the Huntress] *edit* i see you found the reason, UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul by fLokii will affect your npc.esp, too.

[/quote'] How could u apply modded hair to a NPC? I know one way is to use "TESVSnip" to directly include modded hair into NPC mod. But is there other way to do that? I want my NPC to use mod hair/armors/weapons, but it really complicate (for me).
