Anbeegod Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Brief introduction: I am looking for a partner who knows CK and scripts to make a follower romance mod, that adds romance for VANILLA followers. As you may concern, I only know a few about CK, making dialogues, setting NPC data (appearance, faction etc.) and item stats are quite the limits of my CK ability. Instead, my talent is composing stories and doing writing stuff. In the mod, the player will get to truly romance some MALE followers (and some non-followers made followers). I don't plan to make female ones, at least for now, as Amorous Adventures had already added plenty of qualified female romances, such as Serana and Elisif. The mod will be named Follower Romance. We'll do Onmund first. If the Onmund romance is successful, then we'll proceed to other people, possibly Brynjolf or Marcurio. Why do I want to make this mod: I know three mods that introduce male romance: Skyrim Romance Mod (SRM), Amorous Adventures, and Interesting NPCs. In SRM, the PC is unnaturally attractive. Every man added by this mod has irresistible desire to bang the PC, and most of them are similar in a lot of ways. They also speak unnaturally sweet, and I'm embarrassed whenever a man of SRM speaks to me. Only a teenage girl who fancy love stories like Twilight would find SRM exactly what she needs. The romance of SRM lacks depth as well. Amorous Adventures adds 3 male romances: Vilkas, Farkas and Ralof. The "romance" of Ralof is not a romance at all, and that of Vilkas and Farkas lack depth; also, all three romances haven't even a single interesting point. In short, they're lame. But in fact, the author confessed that (s)he doesn't find making male romances easy or interesting, and won't do male romance in future; so we shouldn't demand too much in Amorous Adventures' male romances, as the author didn't intend to make them in the first place. As for Interesting NPCs, romance is neither a main part or an important feature, so it shouldn't be enlisted at all. Meanwhile, I also noticed that the romances in SRM and AA didn't provide much choices for players to pick during the romances. All of the storylines are set and the players just need to follow. To make it sound clearer- you do realize that there's only one dialogue option for you to pick each time you're going to speak in SRM and AA, don't you? Basically, I have few romance choices when I'm roleplaying as a straight female, but to romance my badass Familiar Face character - in my brain only; and when I say romancing him, it's just imagining that we speak something about the last battle and then we feel quite horny and get laid. That's lame. Therefore, I wish to add some solid male romance options, which are not overly-sweet, Twilight-ish or lame. I want to make male romances that are natural and realistic, interesting and not lackluster, and most importantly- they should have depth for players to think about and consider. Whom I'm looking for, desperately: A CK user, who knows how to script. A CK user, who knows how to make dialogues A CK user, who knows how to make quests. A CK user, who knows how to make new places. Or, if you know more than 1 of the above, you can definitely apply to more than one of the above job. As I said, I basically know very few about CK, and I only know that the above work must be done to make the mod. Perhaps knowing how to make scripts is equal to knowing how to make quests. Whom I'm looking for, but not in urgent, and you can't help if there isn't a single CK user: Writer(s). Modeler(s). Voice actor(s). Voice Actress(es). What I'll do: Writing stuff, NPC making (eg. Onmund's family), voice acting (better not, unless no one is offering to voice act). If you're interested in helping, inbox me or leave a reply, and I'll inbox you. I did make a similar post in the Sexlab Framework board, but this post has a different purpose; also, more people get to see a thread in this board.
Anbeegod Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 First part of the Onmund romance, but the relationship hasn't started at all, you're still in friendzone: Notes: * Disable marriage option by default, enable upon romance is completed * Disable the dialogue option that leads to "Onmund's Request", the quest will be triggered by new dialogue option added by this mod * Onmund can be recruited as a follower upon the completion of "Under Saarthal". * Disposition= a stat, max is 50 and min is -50, like the approval system in Dragon Age. It's used to determine whether some events and dialogues should happen and appear. If this cannot be done, please tell me. * sso=start say-once, eso=end say-once *Disposition is a new system that affects how the story goes, just like the approval system in Dragon Age 2 (I know, DA2 is a joke, but its approval system is the most interesting in all 3 DAs); WraithSlayer will help doing this system, as I notice this system is quite similar to his(her) mod Spouse Enhanced. Blocking- Onmund PC: Aren't you the handsome one in this college? Onmund: I don't usually get this kind of compliment... But thank you. PC: Didn't the other girls tell you the same? Onmund: No, not at all. Onmund: In where I grew up, people saw me as a freak, even my parents despise me, let alone girls. PC: 1. ...Sorry for bringing that up. Onmund: I'm fine. I got used to it long ago. Onmund: If you'd allow me, I wish to return to my study. (End blocking) PC: 2. I'd like to know more. Onmund: Magic is shunned by most. If it can't be swung over your head and used to crack skulls, most Nords want nothing to do with it. Onmund: When I was a boy, I discovered my gift. But... PC: But what? Onmund: I don't want to talk about it. PC: 2a. Fine then. Onmund: Goodbye. (End blocking) PC: 2b. Please, tell me. Onmund: What does this have to do with you anyways? Are you a gossip? [sso]PC: 2bi. Fine, keep your mouth shut until the end of the day. (disposition-1) Onmund: Good. Keep your nose elsewhere. [eso](end blocking) PC: 2bii. If you resents it that much, I'll respect your decision. (disposition+1) Onmund: No, no. I... I'm sorry for shouting at you, but I just don't want to talk about this. Onmund: It brings up only bad memories. How much my parents hated me for my gift and... Onmund: How poorly they treated me compared to my sister... PC: You had a sister? Onmund: Had? For a matter of speech, yes. She just passed to Sovngarde a week before I came here. Onmund: I was there, when she defended our village from the bandits, just like a true heroine in the old times. Onmund: She fought bravely but... she was captured in the end. PC: 2bii1. No doubt a savage barbarian met her deserving end. (disposition-1) Onmund: Keep this up, and a haughty mage will meet what he/she (depends on PC's gender) deserves. (end blocking) PC: 2bii2. What happened next? Onmund: When the villagers and I located their camp, I killed every single of those bastards I saw. Onmund: Until I found her in the bandit chief's chamber... desecrated. Onmund: She was sobbing. She begged me to end her sufferings. Onmund: ...with shivering hands, I forced myself to give her a painless death. [sso]PC: 2bii2a. Coward. She should have faced the reality. Onmund: Could you still say the same if you nobly fight for what you love, but ended in a vile bed and be raped? PC: 2bii2ai. I don't know... (disposition-1) Onmund: Then don't comment on something if you have no idea. (end blocking) PC: 2bii2aii. I've faced worse, and I've overcome. Onmund: Worse? What else could be worse? You better not be mocking my sister. PC: 2bii2aii1. My entire family was massacred, could you say the same? Onmund: I... I had no idea... (link to dialogue "4") PC: 4. The past forges a better me. (disposition+1) Onmund: And here I just decided not to dabble in the past anymore... PC: We learn from the past. You now know the importance of cherishing whom you hold dear. Onmund: You've opened a door for me. Thank you. [eso](End blocking, enable dialogue "6") PC: 2bii2aii2. I was raped, you bastard. Onmund: I... I had no idea... (link to dialogue "4") PC: 2bii2aii3. I was sentenced to death. (disposition-1) Onmund: Apparently, you're standing here, alive, breathing, and annoying. [eso] PC: 2bii2aii4. Actually... No, I was joking. (disposition-1) Onmund: Of course. [eso] (end blocking) [sso]PC: 2bii2b. I'm sorry for your loss. Onmund: She has been my closest and only friend ever since I cast my first spell. Onmund: I loved my sister. I'm afraid I won't find another true friend like her again. PC: 2bii2bii. I can be your friend, if you wish. Onmund: (disposition>-1) It's my pleasure to be your friend. [eso](end blocking, enable dialogue "6") Onmund: (disposition<-1) I suppose I don't have much choice, but to find as many friends as possible. [eso](end blocking, enable dialogue "6") PC: 6. I'd like to know more about your family. Onmund: I had a father, I had a mother, and I had a sister. PC: 6a. Ha Ha Ha, very funny. Onmund: There ain't just much to tell, my family was simple and traditional. PC: That's the part I want to know. Onmund: You mean how this created the feud between us? Alright. (link to dialogue "7") PC: 6b. You know I didn't mean that. I want to know the feud between you. Onmund: Well, if you put it that way. (link to dialogue "7") PC: 7. Do tell. Onmund: We used to be a real family. Ingvi, my sister, often went hunting with father, and I read my books in home. PC: 7a. Sounds strange, the boy stays at home and the girl goes outside. Onmund: You might say this started it all, but I'd say, yes and no. Onmund: My father hoped that I'd go with him and learn using my bow, but he respected my interest. PC: But why would he despise you then? Onmund: Because knowledge can make a politician, a bard, a writer, and a mage being the very last of them. (link to dialogue "8") PC: 7b. Sounds peaceful. Onmund: Yes... Those were the days. PC: But what happened next? Onmund: I read my books and learned a lot, and father expected me to learn something "useful", like climate, history. (link to dialogue "8") PC: 8. I see where this goes. Onmund: Is it that obvious? Does that mean it's inevitable? Onmund: When father and mother discovered that I mostly read spell tomes and the old tales that were about magic, they went furious. Onmund: They burnt my books at night, when Ingvi and I were sleeping. Onmund: When I awoke, and found that all that I had was destroyed... I spitted on father's shoes, and ran away. [sso]PC: 8a. Childish. (disposition-1) Onmund: Well yes, I was indeed a child back then. [eso] [sso]PC: 8b. Why did your parents despise magic that much anyways? Onmund: As I said, they were simple and traditional. Onmund: Nords don't trust magic, or those that use it. Made it difficult for me growing up. Onmund: Magic is shunned by most. If it can't be swung over your head and used to crack skulls, most Nords want nothing to do with it. Onmund: Magic is seen as something for elves, and weaker races. Onmund: Nords generally don't trust magic, so it's not off to a good start. Onmund: Throw in the Oblivion Crisis, which was caused by magic-users, and the troubles now with the Aldmeri Dominion, who are elves and magic users. Onmund: And finally take the fact that the College is the only thing left standing after most of Winterhold was destroyed. It's all fairly damning. PC: That doesn't make a father despise his own son. Onmund: Because my grandfather was killed by the Thalmor, the most infamous magic users in Skyrim. Onmund: That makes him hate not just the Thalmor, but also elves and magic-users. PC: 8bi. Thalmor and all those damn elves deserve to be hated. Onmund: Thalmor seems to be the common enemy of the Nord folks, eh? Onmund: But not all elves are racist Talos-haters. Most elves just wanted to live peacefully with the other races, do business, study magic... Onmund: It's just politics and its players that create all these tensions and hatred. PC: You don't know every elf. Onmund: Neither do you, friend. [eso] PC: 8bii. Elves and magic-users shouldn't be blamed. (disposition+1) Onmund: If only I could talk some sense into my father, I'd be a lot happier when I was still in my home. Onmund: But this is my home now. The College is my new home. [eso] PC: 8biii. Your grandfather was killed by the Thalmor? Onmund: My grandfather was an imperial legionnaire. He left my father and grandmother in Skyrim, and went to Cyrodiil to fight the Great War. Onmund: According to my father, my grandfather was in a warship, fighting against the Thalmor fleets at the Abecean Sea. Onmund: The Archoness of the Dominion was there... she somehow combined the magicka of 15 archmages, and cast the biggest fireball ever seen. Onmund: My grandfather's warship was sunk before the fireball burned it into ashes. PC: 8biii1. I want to cast a powerful fireball like that one myself! (disposition+1) Onmund: That's a worthy goal! But well, I hope you're aiming at a dragon then. [eso] PC: 8biii2. I'm sorry. Onmund: No, not at all. I only knew my grandfather from my father's stories. I'd only see him as a hero, but not someone close. [eso] PC: 8biii3. And you believe in everything your father told you? Onmund: They're just stories. Whether they're real or not, it doesn't hurt. Onmund: Unless the Thalmor plans to use the same fireball to destroy the college! [eso] [sso]PC: 8c. But you returned, eventually. Onmund: I wouldn't have returned if it wasn't for Ingvi. Onmund: She located me in a cave, and when she found me, a troll showed himself. Onmund: When I looked at him, I thought it is an impossible battle. Two children, versus an all-grown cave troll! PC: How did you won? Onmund: We cooperated. She kept running and taunting the troll, although I don't even know if he understood the taunting words. Onmund: Nevertheless, Ingvi kept him busy, while I could concentrate on firing my spells to that beast. Onmund: In the end, we killed the troll, and took his hides to present to father, hoping to make him happy. PC: That didn't work? Onmund: No, it worked. Father was pleased, he always wanted a troll hide to make us a new rug. PC: But then where goes the feud? Onmund: He said, "lad, I'll forgive you, but you must promise me, never dabble into magic again". PC: 8bi. Of course you promised him, he's your father. Onmund: He's my father, but I am a mage. (link to dialogue "9") PC: 8bii. You wouldn't have given magic up. (disposition+1) Onmund: That's what I thought. (link to dialogue "9") PC: 9. And then? Onmund: I argued with him, saying that I should have my freedom to pursue my path. Onmund: Then he used a lot of harsh words to tell me that I was ignorant and arrogant, "grandfather-murderer" being the kindest. Onmund: He and mother even threatened to disclaim me as their son. Onmund: I loved magic, but I couldn't abandon my family, whatever the reason. So I was forced to practice magic only when no one could see me. Onmund: Since then, we could hardly be called parents and child again. Ingvi was all that I had. PC: 9a. Perhaps your parents are not "exactly" your parents. Onmund: It no longer matters now, does it? PC: 9b. Sounds like you and Ingvi were much more than siblings... Onmund: Oh no, no, no! I wouldn't have done such a thing. She is... was my only friend, and that's extremely significant to me. PC: Really? Onmund: Oh, sweet Akatosh... PC: 9c. And how did you end up here, in the college? Onmund: Because I had nothing left in my old home. PC: You mean your sister. Onmund: Yes. She was the only one who truly cared about me. She gave me hope to pursue my dream. Onmund: The others didn't know who slit Ingvi's throat, but they all blamed me for being too weak, and allowed the bandits to take her life. PC: Did you blame yourself as well? Onmund: I do. Onmund: Let's not revisit that topic. [eso](end blocking, enable dialogue "10")
