justinway Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. When using Caliente's Vanilla Outfits for CBBE and trying to convert it to UUNP i get a floating wrist. Basically I load an outfit (barkeep in this case) then load non hdt Unified UNP reference. I then fix any issues with clipping and conform sliders, but when I create the outfit and load in game the wrist and sometimes ankles (clothing part not body) are floating from the outfit. Don't have this problem with other outfits just Caliente's Vanilla outfits. The outfits work fine using the default sliders that it comes with, but want to make it UUNP. https://imagizer.ima.../540/HssDQz.jpg https://imagizer.ima.../673/h7EK5Y.jpg Anyone know what causes this?
ousnius Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Were there any errors about unweighted vertices when saving the project in Outfit Studio? Or later in NifSkope? Are those things part of the actual torso/dress of the outfit? Did they appear and fit inside OS? Did you copy weights?
Excyd Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Thanks for the reply, "Were there any errors about unweighted vertices when saving the project in Outfit Studio? Or later in NifSkope?" Only when I copied all weights, but I was just coping breast which gave no error. "Are those things part of the actual torso/dress of the outfit?" Yes, it was one whole outfit "Did they appear and fit inside OS?" Yes "Did you copy weights?" Just breast, I left the other weights alone. Seem to have fixed it, but maybe I am missing something. Basically to correct the floating wrist I did the opposite of step 6 in guide 0 (In nifskope I used Spell>Batch>Make All Skin Partitions (but kept "Stripify Triangles" checked instead of unchecked), hit ok then saved). Next I loaded torso_1 in outfit studio and used UUNP as a reference, then conformed all the sliders, copied breast bones and saved as a new project (Didn't have any vertices error). After using preset sliders in Bodyslide and creating for in game use everything was fine. Also didn't have any NiSkinInstance branches in nifskope they were all BSDismemberSkinInstance already. Was also able to fix this by doing the opposite and loading torso_0 and torso_1 in nifskope after I created in bodyslide. So to be clear. Created original outfit in bodyslide using original bodyslide sliders that come with Caliente's Vanilla Outfits for CBBE > then loaded in nifskope and did above > then opened the outfit in Outfit Studio using UUNP as a reference > fixed clipping, conformed sliders, copied breast weights > saved as a new project > opened the new project in bodyslide using custom preset and built it for use. Outfit works now, but still curious if I am missing a step that I should be doing.
ousnius Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 That correct, yeah. Were there any "NiTriStrips" in NifSkope in the original before you started converting it? While Outfit Studio fully supports those now, it would mean keeping the "Stripify Triangles" check box checked when making the skin partitions in NifSkope.
Excyd Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 No, Has 2 "NiTriShape", but no "NiTriStrips" Thanks again
