A tip for Windows 7 users: How to display the details for Undo action

I keep forgetting this, so I'd better post it here.

 

When you see an "Undo Move" or "Undo Rename" option on the "Organize" menu, or on the context menu that is displayed when you right click, you might have thought "Yeah, but undo WHAT exactly?". Windows 7 doesn't display the file name involved in the "Undo" action by default. You can still force it to show the file name by doing this:

 

1. Open an Explorer window and go to "Organize" -> "Layout" -> Enable (check) "Menu bar". Or simply press any of the ALT keys on your keyboard. This will display the "File" menu.
2. Go to "View" on the "File" menu and enable (check) "Status bar". The status bar will be displayed on the bottom of the window.
3. Now, if you hover over "File" -> "Edit" -> "Undo <ACTION>" with your mouse, or if you hover over the Undo option on the context menu, the file name will be displayed on the Status Bar below.
