Jingz Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Hi, I have a few ideas of improving some abandoned mods, but after a few days of reverse engineering those, hoping to understand what you all did, I gave up. I thought with my rudimental knowledge of Java, C and C++ it would be possible, but as I already wrote, my efforts didn't succeed. So I want to go a few steps back. Are there some tutorials which help me to understand the layout of a mod, in particular the cooperation with anoter mod? Jingz
saladboy21 Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 I watched a lot of youtube videos on the GECK, but did not get very far with them. I'm going to be tackling FNVedit a bit see if I have more luck.
Chase Roxand Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 It doesn't really help that the scripters here all have different formatting styles. Even the way that we set up loops and stages can be different. I'd suggest making your own mod(s) first. Anything that you don't know how to do, look up on the GECK wiki. If it's Sexout related, look it up here. If you can't find what you need, ask for help on that specifically.
