ifjiwj2342 Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 EDIT: As I only have 1 post I cannot currently include links. Sorry.I've played Skyrim since it was released and had previously modded some minor things, but never went all in. Last week I decided I want to try everything modding has to offer and quickly realized I needed to keep a record of what I'm using and the order I installed it in. Note that I use Nexus Mod Manager NMM and LOOT. Another note is that with this install order and NMM almost every mod will ask you 1 or 2 of 2 things, "Would you like to update?" and/or "Would you like to overwrite?" As I have hand crafted this install order, I never use the update feature (as some mods with different versions are simply patches for another mod). I also overwrite almost everything, except, DO NOT overwrite the character mesh after running BodySlide and placing the Vagina/Dick/Finger physics. More on this later. Here's the order in which I installed my mods and everything seems to work perfectly, without crashes while stress testing. ----------Base Install:SKSESKSE INI SKSI INI incorporates some recommended tweaks for SKSEUnofficial Skyrim PatchUnofficial Dawnguard PatchUnofficial Hearthfire PatchUnofficial Dragonborn PatchOneTweak I use this for Racemenu Pre-cache killer and borderless window.SkyUIRacemenu----------Character Mesh\Texture Notes:Notes:1) While choosing a character body shape and texture you will likely want to know if it supports the addition of physics. Physics that may be supported include (but are not limited to): BBP: Breast & Butt Phsyics or Bouncing Breasts Physics TBBP: Thighs, Breast, and Butt Physics, enhanced BBP. HDT (PE): HDT or HDT PE is the Havok Physics Engine. It also requires BBP/TBBP, but adds a real physics engine allowing more features. Additional features include vagina physics, finger physics, penis physics, etc. HDT+ / Special: These have working vaginas. You do not have to start with a body supporting physics, it can be layered in afterwards (please see below for how I created mine), just note that some texture types are easier/harder to convert. Not all body types (CBBE/UNP) support all textures. 2) There are too many body shape types to count, but most are derivities of CBBE or UNP. A small description is as follows: CBBE: Caliente's Beautify Bodies Edition. These bodies generally are more curvy with bigger busts. Supports BBP, TBBP, HDT. Everything listed below is similar to CBBE (may or may not have physics support) CT77: ChronoTrigger77's CBBE varient. Has support for HDT and armors. ADEC: Acdale's EyeCandy Body. Has support for TBBP. Larger legs, hips, thinner waist, enhanced butt. HGEC: Converted from Oblivion this mod gives realistic proportions (UNP legs, arms, belly button, increased breast size) and includes support for TBBP/HDT. TGND: The Girl Next Door is designed to be an average female without huge tits, supermodel waist, etc. Has a bit of extra meat on the body. UNP: Unpretended doesn't pretend to be real, it's real, beautiful, eye candy. Skinnier chicks with smaller tits plus BBP, TBBP, HDT support. Everything listed below is similar to UNP (may or may not have physics support) UN7B: UN Sevenbase Base Bombshell. Has bottom similar to UNPB. Supports BBP, TBBP, HDT, HDT+, SPecial. 7BUNP\Seraphim: AlpineYJ's UNP varient taking inspiration from UN7B, UNPB, UNP, etc. Supports BBP, TBBP, HDT. UNPB and UNPBB: UNP Blessed Body gives UNP tits similar to CBBE. UNPetite: UNP with a skinnier waist, A cups, and a bubble butt. UNPC: More curvy UNP. UNPCM: CBBE Conversion to UNP UNPK: Another UNP body with bigger bottom. Supports BBP, TBBP, HDT. Demonfet: DemonHunter's UNP. Thinner waist, smoother boobs, thinner legs Other CBBE similar types include: ABA, Fantasy Figures, GrowlfBody, RebirthBody, Robert Female Body, Dream Girl, Top Model, Leito, UNPF, UNPFx, CNHF, MCBM, Manga, CHSBHC3) Note that the shape of the body, or it's skeleton, is called a mesh. The mesh also contains the HDT physics information for weights. The skin that goes overtop of it is the Texture. Here's a small break down of the multiple layers: Note: You will only need to knows these if you plan to pick apart different body textures, which I have done and touch on further down. .nif is the mesh skeleton. sk.dds is skin subsurface. s.dds is the specular map. Provides glossy, shiney, wet look. msn.dds is the normal map. Provides texture, pores, muscles. .dds is the diffuse map or body texture. Provides color and texture. Character Mesh\Texture Install:Dimonized UNP + 1.51 I Used Dimonized UNP Base Skinny 1.2 and placed Dimonized 1.51 body textures after it.Realistic Ragdolls and Force 1.9 or newerFores New Idles in Skyrim 5.5 or newerFNIS Behavior (No upgrade)FNIS Spells (No upgrade) Run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe as administrator after all mods installedFNISSexyMove Includes New Animations Pack by xp32, Victorias High Heel Walk, Tender BBP by Dragonfly, Female running and walking by gekkou, catwalk If you completely want to switch off walk assignments for the player, e.g. because you use PCEA or animation replacers with directional walks (like New Animation Pack, or 360 Walk and Run Plus), then you choose "No Sexy Move (use default)". Note: this default option only works with the "FNIS Sexy Move player fix". NPC pre-set ("lavender"): If you have a mod that adds a female NPC to the game, and if you want this NPC to use a specific walk (without having to assign it via dialogue), then you can as well put a gift into the NPC's inventory: lavender (the ingredient). Giving her any number of lavender between 1 and 9 will make her automatically use the walk/run associated with this number (see above) Sexy Idle Animation 1.1 Recommended Setting 4 Also try Pretty Female Idles Female Animation Pack XP32 Skeleton Some require a version 1.X, 2.X, or 3.X) XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended 2.82 or 3.11 XP32 Maximum Skeleton 1.94 I use XP32 MSE 3.11 HDT PE (Physics Extension) - SKSE PluginHDT TBBP BBP (Breast And Butt Physics) - SKSE PluginBodySlide 2 - Includes HDTM and HDT Vagina SKSE Plugin BodySlide 2 contains racemenu intigration, which is how I seamlessly swap between CBBE/UNP. Unified UNP - All of your favorite UNP shape variants combined in one set of sliders! This addon includes all of the sliders that CBBE BodySlide has, plus full-body sliders for the most popular UNP family shapes. These bodies require UNP textures to be installed and come in regular, HDT and Special variants. UUNP Special has a "working" 3D vagina for the HDT Physics Extensions and requires usage of the included TexBlendUUNP package. Unless necessary, conversions should be made for regular and HDT only. I use the Unified UNP Special or HDT Outfit/Body with multiple preset options (normally revolving around UNP Skinny). Schlongs of SkyrimImmersive First Person View or The Joy of Perspective.esp Note: If you use IFP and start a new game with the regular start, your hands are tied. This is why you have trouble looking around. It'll fix that after your hands are cut free.SexLabFramework 159c SexLab MatchMakerAlternative Start Notes: I would've added these either way, but for now I have them added to make testing my bodies/textures faster. This is the point at which I start experimenting. Run BodySlide 2 from the Skyrim folder and you can fiddle around with the options to get the general body shape you like. There are many BodySlide guides and I did not use any one specifically. Remember that if you're adding physics you likely want to start with an HDT or Special varient. Also note that you should NOT replace the meshes after running BodySlide. Once I have the body type I like, I experimented with adding textures to find the body type/texture combo I liked. Run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe as administrator after all mods installed before testing in-game. I could only find 3 or 4 varieties and most were for CBBE or UN7B. This is why I started toying with BodySlide and UNP varients, which allowed me to place a working 3D vagina on unsupported textures I wanted. I used two guides to accomplish this: Asrienda's 7B HDT Vagina guide (linked on 7B HDT download page) 7B HDT Vagina instructions From these guides I: 7B HDT Vagina v1.43b (includes HDTM, HDT Vagina) TextBlend PNG My Files 3 (updated HDT Fingers, HDTM, and HDT Vagina). As per the instructions I used TexBlend to blend the 7B HDT Vagina onto my custom texture. Than I used Nifskope to add HDT physics (HDT Havok Object) to Schlongs of Skyrim, Dildos, Fingers, Dogs, Wolves, Monsters, etc. Presto: I now have a custom UNP/CBBE varient with BBP, TBBP, HDT, Vagina support.Other Potential Vaginas Include: Realistic Vagina for CBBE 1.0 Working Vagina + HDT Collisions + Hair Physics Now With Belly Support UUNP Special ----------ENB Lighting Mods:There are many, but I currently use RealVision ENB with Realistic Lighting Overhaul. Note that different ENB's will make your characters look different. I use a custom variety of recommended mods and required mods listed on the page and Skyrim runs at around 30FPS with consistency, but may dip to around 20FPS or go as high as 60FPS. This portion of the guide is taken specifically from the RealVision ENB page with my own personal edits for use with Real Lighting Overhaul and Nexus Mod Manager. I'm still looking to add additional physics as I'd like my in-game collisions to look more life-like. A hand job should actually have hands on the penis. A blowjob should actually have the penis in the mouth. I like anal, is there physics to make the penis go to the ass hole instead of the vagina? Link me to helpful shit!~ I want to look at replacing all vanilla NPC's with meshes/textures from my own setup. Should make vanilla NPC's look much better and also have physics enabled. I'm looking at Inhabitants of Skyrim. Suggestions? I want to replace all vanilla NPC children. I've been toying with NPC replaces for Skykids, COTS, RCOTS, and RS Children. Still in the testing phase though so again, I'm open to suggestions. Interested in alternative ENB / Lighting suggestions. Final Thoughts: I will likely provide zero support for this. This guide is more complete than anything I had to go on so if you can't figure it out from here, go RTFM; however, if you have input or suggestions, please feel free to post as I'm more than happy to update/tweak this. Huge props to anyone who worked on these mods, mods at all, helped with guides/walkthroughs, etc. If I'm using something you did and did not give you credit, please feel free to point that out and I'll update that ASAP. I simply wanted to get this up and posted after I'd gotten the last of my own personal requirements done.
Anatriax Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 One BIG problem. NMM. That's going to turn A LOT of people off. Make the switch to Mod Organizer. Less of a headache, easier to fix problems, more functionality.EDIT: If you had nothing to go on, you didn't do enough Google searches. "Skyrim Modding Guide" brings up STEP, my guide, and a few others that are more comprehensive. ie: they include specific directions on what to do where, what mods have the best balance of stability, functionality, and performance impact. Most of these guides also include specific examples of mods that should be used. CBBE over UNP (or vise versa), Pure Weather over CoT (or vise versa), instead of just a list of mods grouped in sections that do similar things. Kudos on the information about the different file types, though. That's something I haven't included in my personal guide, and probably should.
ifjiwj2342 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 I did all of this with NMM, saving all the body type tweaks until after I had my base. Once I started my body tweaks I realized I should've used MO, LOL! I'll likely be switching to MO soon. Thanks for the suggesiton!~ EDIT: Haha! I also didn't find the STEP guide until after I started my body tweaks as well. Now that I have the working base I wanted, I'm planning to go through that as well! EDIT2: Is there an order of guides that anyone would recommend? Part of the trouble I had as a beginner was that I had no idea what I was doing or what I wanted. What's CBBE? What's UNP? That's even if I found those through all the other varients. What's a mesh or texture? What's a specular map? What's an ENB and how does that affect everything else? I had to go through the entire process in order to find out what these things were. Now that I'm more well equipt, I'm looking to make this 120% better, so point me in a direction!
Anatriax Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 If you'd like, I'm a bit too busy to work on updating my Skyrim guide constantly, as I also have Oblivion and Fallout guides to keep up with. Instead of having 3 different Skyrim guides floating around LL, I suggest the following:Look through my guide, make notes (in notepad) and provide your thoughts. We'll collaborate back and forth as to why one mod might be better than the other, and if it's something we can agree on that needs to be there? I'll see that it's added, and I'll also mention you in the credits. This is mostly to avoid confusion for readers of the forums, as well as making sure that the guides we DO have here on LL are 100% comprehensive, and it's something that several in the community have provided input on.
ifjiwj2342 Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 I'm down, thanks a ton Amatriax. May be a little bit as this is my Sunday and I've gotta go back to work tomorrow, but if you've seen my 2nd edit, I'm definitely looking to expand on what I've got here or help get the beginner info somewhere it helps! UPDATE: Just nuked my Skyrim install and am starting fresh. Gonna start fresh going through Anatriax's guide, the Skyrim Modding Guide stickied at the top of the page, while attempting to use Mod Organizer to recreate the feeling I want from Skyrim. It's funny thinking I just spent 1 week to get Skyrim how I want, only to nuke it all and start again, but I'm having fun so whatever!~
Monstaah Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Great job mate,.. when I started modding my skyrim a couple months ago I almost had keyboard keys stuck to my face after smashing into so many times from frustration regarding most of the FUCKING ABBREVIATIONS out there!!!. ( sorry, it still angers me ) wish I'd found something this handy back then.. anyways thanks & best of luck to ya..
