Bodyslide bug, skin looks displaced

Hi and thanks for the help :)

I've tried every guide/tutorial I found but I can't manage to fix this bug.. When my female character is nude the skin is wrong (nipples not in the good place/ too big, wrong light reflection, huge seems ...)

I'm trying to use the CBBE imitation ADEC slider preset, if that info can help, and I double checked that all the skin mods were CBBE compatible (SG texture + sporty sexy map)

Does someone know where this bug comes from??

Bodyslide does not have such bug.

Actually, if the body mesh is contorted in such a way that it mis-aligns the UV-Map, yes. Bodyslide CAN cause this bug.

Actually, I didn't clearly understand the OP. You are right. 

What this sounds like (and will probalby look like) is a mis-match of mesh and texture. So the UV-Map won't be what it needs to be. 

OP: Double check that you're using the CBBE Bodyslide presets, and not one designed for UUNP, also double check that you're using the correct textures for the body type that you've grabbed. 

From the description, it does sound like it's a mismatch of texture and mesh. If the UV Map of the mesh doesn't match the texture, then it will get all screwed up, like you're talking about.

Thanks for your replies!

I reinstalled CBBE and selected the options morph slider and bodyslide and everything is back to normal!

 

EDIT: the bug came back, only thing I did meanwhile was:

modify the "imitation ADEC" a bit and save as custom preset

build

batch build

uinstall a random mod

run FNIS

 

So it seem that i did not build it correctly, I'll stick with the preset from now on

People are always just batch building everything. That's not how batch build is supposed to work. If you do that, you will build a Unified UNP body which is not what you want when you have CBBE textures installed.

 

Instead, choose the armor groups you need to batch build in the group filter at the top of the BodySlide frame, and THEN batch build only those groups. Never batch build all groups or nude bodies.

 

You can also do a normal build on the nude body of your choice (CBBE Body) after a batch build, to make sure that's what's built last.
