Knightraven8 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I don't really want to install Death Alternative or Defeat on my current save, but I ran into an issue where my character's controls became locked up. I created a second save and installed Defeat to test if it's clean function would restore control (which it did) but even after uninstalling through the MCM and running several save cleaners, it still left traces in my game. Ideally I would like to find either a console command or a small mod that restores function to the player the same way the clean function works in DA/Defeat. For the record, I tried EnablePlayerControls in the console, which did nothing at all. Using TC to toggle AI control on my PC and then TC again did restore controls, but only partially. It worked for 3rd person, but my first person camera was bugged and would not actually rotate my character's model, only the head. Any other advice would also be appreciated. Sorry if this isn't the right place for this post.

I found that the captured dreams mod I had installed also has a similar function to restore player controls, which got my character working again as intended. I'll just leave this post up incase anyone else happens to run into this problem or might know of another possible solution.

Btw, I love Captured Dreams. I was hoping that the master of CD would test submissiveness by asking for a pussy lick or ordered to give Harran a blowjob. Or do some other things like ordering me to insert a plug or what ever and lock myself in a belt. With a nice dialog or script. I'm just dreaming........

Yeah Captured Dreams is one of my favorites from the devious line of mods 1 you can use zaz mcm menu 2 you can use console commands of EnablePlayerControls and SetPlayerAIDriven 0 Ok, that's good to know as well. I decided to just scour my MCM list for any and every mod I thought might have that feature. Zaz of course was on the very bottom so I got to the CDshop mod first. But I will certainly remember that for the future in case the issue comes up again and for some reason I can't get it fixed the same way I did this time.
