SapphicSoul2 Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 TESedit4 is telling me that DLCBattlehorncastle unofficial patch esp requires DLCBattlehorncastle esp to be loaded before it. I can't find DLC Battlehorncastle esp in the OBMM list or the game folder. any suggestions?
Anatriax Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Steam Version? Verify Cache and it will re-download it.Disc version? Install to a different location and copy it over. This is a good reason why you should always keep a BACKUP copy of your data folder.
fejeena Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Are you sure that you had installed DLCBattlehorncastle? Maybe you don't have it if you have the Disc Versions of Oblivion. There was Oblivion and ShiveringIsle disc and a Knights of the nine all DLCs Version disc , all DLCs except DLCBattlehorncastle. That's the only DLC I don't have. If you have installed the Unofficial DLC patch ( released today or yesterday at Nexus ) there is the Battlehorncastle Patch included. So if you don't have the DLCBattlehorncastle don't install the the DLCBattlehorncastle unofficial patch esp. ( delete or deactivate the esp)
SapphicSoul2 Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 I am playing a Steam version of Oblivion, ShiveringIsle and Knights of the Nine. I ran Wrye Bash and it told me that the mod ( Unofficial Oblivion DLC patches ) contains two patch esps that have no masters. Battlehorn castle and Frostcrag. I removed those two esps from the mod folder and zipped it up, created an omod of the modified folder and installed it. I ran TES4edit. all good. my game loads and plays normaly now. thanks everyone for your advice.
Anatriax Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Go to games library Right click on Oblivion Select properties Go to "local files" Click "Verify integrity of game cache"Steam will download any files you're missing from the vanilla game. The steam version is ONLY GOTY. So all DLC are included in the steam version, pretty much no matter how you buy it (I believe)
