bcE911 Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I apologize for this but I am very new to modding. I am having a issue installing the NVSE Extender. I have searched the forums and you tube to no avail. I placed the NVSE Extender v16.fomod in my Fallout new Vegas Game folder where my .exe's and game files are located. I have successfully installed through Fomm following Bruse Wayne's Guide nvse_5_0_beta2 and using Fomm's Package manager MCM, SexoutNG-Core, SexoutNG-Data. When I go to click on NVSE Extender I get the following error message: ERROR A problem occured during install. Could not find file. 'C:\FOMVmod\Fomm\Data\FalloutNV\ModConfig5.0.xsd' (C:\FOMVmod\Fomm\Data\FalloutNV\ModConfig5.0.xsd) This mod was not installed. How do I fix this? Any help would be greatly apperciated.
BruceWayne Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Copy the extender fomod in your /FOMM/data/falloutnv/mod folder and install it with the package manager. It should work the same way as with the sexout archives. Alternatively you can extract the files with 7zip and place them manually in your data folder.

Did you launch the game first without the NVSE and configurated your game settings ?
bcE911 Posted July 30, 2015 Author Posted July 30, 2015 I placed the Fomm into the folder /FOMM/data/falloutnv/mod and I did run the game before starting to mod. I posted screenshots to maybe help a little. I have the Fomm folder in its own place on my drive. Does it need to be in my Fallout NV game folder?
BruceWayne Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 That's weird. Unpack and put this file in your /FOMM/data/FalloutNV folder and see if you can install the extender afterwards. ModConfig5.0.rar
bcE911 Posted July 30, 2015 Author Posted July 30, 2015 I installed it into " /FOMM/data/FalloutNV folder" I have taken screen shots but it still will not let me install. I am getting the same error. I backtracked to verify my FOMM installed and was connected to this folder so everything works but the NVSE extender; I also verified Anti Virus was disabled for this.
bcE911 Posted July 31, 2015 Author Posted July 31, 2015 Does the Fomod folder need to be in the main games folder instead of its own away from the game? Updated. I deleted everything and started from scratch following the instructions very carefully word for word. Not sure where I went wrong but it is working fine now. Onto the next portion. Thanks everyone for the help.
