Tigasboss Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Simply put my marriage quest is broken, but unlike the posts i saw (yes i went online trying to find a fix for this) the ceremony does start, the thing is after the wedding my spouse doesent ask where we want to live for example,and the other speech options like asking for food, etc dont appear as well.The npc also acts like it isnt married, the AI stays the same. i installed the skyrim family life mod (after all this) and it says marriage quest wasnt started (sexlab spouses enhanced also cant detect my spouse)
Alissa Kane Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Is is possible that you have any other mods in your load order that effect NPC AI and behavior or marrige, as that could be overriding the NPCs marriage dialogue. Also is it a vanilla NPC or modded one as it could just be a poorly coded NPC. As for the quest not starting id advise just trying to reload before you asked the NPC to marry you and see if it starts. If that doesn't work i suppose you could use the quest console commands ( http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_(Skyrim)) to get the quest id and stage and then manually start it yourself, however the revert to old save would be a lot cleaner.
