Hello LL

This is a  easy guide for customizing your main menu background

Before we start, i did not the script for customizing your menu. All rights goes to hellstorm102 from nexus.

  • Step 2 : download my pack or hellstorm102's pack ( my pack is easier )

Hellstorm's one

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3708/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D3708&pUp=1

  • Step 3 : Install all of folders ( meshes+textures+skse+mainmenuwallpapers) into data folder

  • Step 4 : go to ../common/skyrim/data/mainmenuwallapapers/a/data/textures/interface/objects and open the Mainmenuwallpaper.dds with Paint.net (If you can't open with paint.net then open paint.net and click layes->import from file and choose the mainmenuwallpeper pic in folder A

  • Step 5 : If you have downloaded my pack you will see a white box, there is where you should put your background for main menu
Pics must be 1920x1080 most likely.

  • Step 6 : Now do as done before , layers -> import from file and choose the one you want to set as background of mainmenu

  • Step 7 : You will need to cover all white of first pic with your second pic, you can simply stretch it by clicking the dots at the edge of the images

  • Step 8: Once done , click save as > make sure you are saving the new pic in the right directory (..data/mainmenuwallpapers/A/data/interfaces/objects) and make sure you overwrite the old one

Make sure you save the new pic as a .dds !

  • Step 9 : you are pretty done make sure you start your game with skse , if all went fine you should have your menu with your pic

like this
