Fredas Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Maybe this just seems like an obviously useful thing to me, but I find myself wanting to take one or another texture effort I've slapped together for Skyrim, and pass it through some sort of conforming app or plugin so that its various details get re-situated in positions which conform to those needed by other bodies. For example, UNP <-> CBBE. The UV map would be irrelevant, because it's a simple matter of "this nipple should actually be here", etc. I see no theoretical reason why this would be impossible or even all that difficult - but doing it by hand is, of course, out of the question, and inevitably prone to inaccuracies. That said, Google fails me. If the method is available, I don't know what to search for. And as a matter of fact, what I mainly want to do is "port" textures to Fallout 3/NV bodies. In that case, of course, I recognize that the manifest differences in the geometries of the limbs and such would pose special problems, so I would at best hope for something that at least comes close, so that I could take the end result and use it as a resource to edit. Better than wistfully staring at Skyrim's generally superior textures and wishing the usual suspects in FO3 weren't generally so humdrum.
