Kernel39 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I'm using the UNP skinny body for my custom character I created in racemenu, and there are very visible and unsightly neckseams. The skin color is also noticeably darker stemming from the seam. The same thing is true with the wrists. Here are some screenshot examples, how do I fix this?

gvman3670 Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 That is a color mismatch. Use the head textures that match the body textures. It looks like you used that horrid Bella thing.

gvman3670 Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 You used a separate face texture and not the one that came with your texture set. Bella's is a face texture on the Nexus that's been downloaded and used way too much. It was OK when we just had vanilla textures, but with the nice texture sets available now it has no place anymore. It looked like Bella's because of the heavy makeup.

To my knowledge I am not using a custom face texture. But I do have the racemenu mod installed.
gvman3670 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Oh, OK. So now go get Fairskin Complexion (or any other high quality UNP textures) and install them, making sure to use the entire set (head, body, hands, feet, the whole enchilada).

gvman3670 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 How are you installing mods? If manual make sure all the head, hands and body textures (each has four different .dds files). Female hands, female head and female body is how they're listed if you unzip the texture sets. If you're using NMM or MO just install the mod normally and you'll get them all. Then avoid adding new head/face textures so they don't get overwritten.
Kernel39 Posted July 21, 2015 Author Posted July 21, 2015 I'm using the textures that came with the UNP Skinny body, the only thing different I'm using is enhanced female normalmaps. Should I uninstall this and use the regular normalmaps?
gvman3670 Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Uninstall and install a better texture set. Go on. Get it done. Then post some pics with your character looking a bunch better. Ten minute fix if your download speeds are slow.
