fkal13 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 When I import plugin file, elinrace_numenume hair.esp, in creation kit, warning messages appear to me. beside elinrace_numenume hair.esp, they appear in, when importing other hair file included Elin Race Hair Packs. - Assert File: C:\_skyrim\code\TESV\TESShared\misc\BGSLocalizedString.cpp Line: 2871 LOCALIZATIONl: Error opening or reading strings file. and I insert button, MASTERFILE: LOCALIZATION: Zero entries or empty block size read from string file STRINGS/RaceCompatibility_ENGLISH_ENGLISH.STRINGS. Strings will be missing "Yes to all" will disable all Warnings for this context. after message, creation kit stops working, and program is off. how can I fix it???
Irrational Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Try this: 1. Go to you main Skyrim Directory and look for the file called "SkyrimEditor.ini" and open it. 2. Make sure "bAllowMultipleMasterLoads" is set to 1. (You can find it via ctrl + F) 3. Add the .bsa file you are trying to open under "SResourceArchiveList2". (This can also be found in the SkyrimEditor.ini) 4. Try opening the mod in creation kit and ignore warnings. 5. For future questions, ask the Skyrim Technical Support forum.
Veladarius Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 The error refers to the string tables for the English version, the problem is there are none extracted unless you are using a localized version of Skyrim so you get the error that it can't find them. Don't worry about the error though, doing things in the CK will screw up the string tables anyways so it is best not to extract them.
