NV : How do you stop blood from getting on armor/weapons?

[Question]

I noticed that for some armor, blood decals won't get applied to it but on others, it will....does anyone know what causes this? For example blood doesnt get applied when using the type 3 bunny suits but the one from CWDolls will have blood show up.E

 

Edit : Seems to be .nif dependant at least, its something to do with the mesh of the armor itself, but i cant tell whats causing it exactly.
