Mod Organizer getting rid of freaking sub-categories directories

I don't know how it happened but my mods somehow has been rearranged into weird sub-categories drop down lists. Must have clicked something...

How do I remove those grayed out drop downs which contain my mods. I tried to drag them out but it won't work.

Down by the name filter for the mods, try setting "nexus IDS" to "No Groups"

I once clicked on Mod Name on that list by accident, causing the list to be sorted by name instead of priority.

 

Next time I started Mod Organizer I saw everything out of order and I was like what the hell... guess I have to reorder all this crap... only to find I could not change the orders.

 

Took me hours to figure out that it was because the list was sorted by name instead of priority, made me feel rather silly 

 

I'm sure just about anyone that has used mod organizer have a similar story though
