narixel Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 so I didnt update with fnis for users after I made some changes ingame and now npcs wont move anymore any way to fix it?
Guest Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Hi. You DID NOT update FNIS after changes? You should... If everybody is stick without moving probably the whole idle behavior file is corrupted. Regenerate it with FNIS for Users.

Guest Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Yes. I will. Can I ask your native language? If it is italian, French, Spanish or Russian, I can write it (together with the English translation.)

gvman3670 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Go to wherever FNIS is installed. If it's added with NMM or manually it should be in your Skyrim directory/folder. IIRC it should be in /Skryim/data/tools/GenerateFNIS_for_users/. Run the .exe file there. If you use Mod Organizer it will be in /Mod Organizer/mods/FNIS (version you're using)/tools/GenerateFNIS_for_users/. Run the .exe file there. If you're using MO it should already be set as an executable inside of MO anyway, so then just select it and run it from MO.

gvman3670 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Is it manually, NMM or MO installed? First things first here.
narixel Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 Is it manually, NMM or MO installed? First things first here. I installed everything with nexus mm to make sure everything will work but I did that stupid thing and forgot to update after launching the game it will take me a whole day to reinstall all my mods
gvman3670 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 You shouldn't have to reinstall everything. NMM used to have a folder than held archives of all your installed mods. You can move or copy that folder if you have to. So you go to /Skryim/data/tools/GenerateFNIS_for_users/ and run the executable file there and nothing happens at all? No window pops up from FNIS? It should. Then you merely check (at the bottom) the patches you need (for some mods you may be running, but definitely the "skeleton arm fix") and then hit the big, yellow update button and let it do its thing.

gvman3670 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 According to that you should be good to go now. Close it and fire up Skyrim (with the SKSE launcher of course).

gvman3670 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Good to know it's working. Now you know how to fix it if it happens again anyway.

gvman3670 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I've had it not work the first time I ran it before. But it did the second time. Don't know why it threw an error the first time, but it did and didn't the second time.
