Potential security risk via twitter login.

Hello,

 

I'm unsure where to put this, but my twitter had been hacked recently.

 

I only use twitter as a login gate for loverslab, and unfortunately it looks as though somehow your security was breached.

 

they followed a bunch of random people all over the world, I can only hope they didnt tweet anything.

 

just thought I'd let you know,

 

hopefully it wasn't loverslab, but given I done even use twitter for anything else it's a little hard to imagine what I could've done otherwise...

A virus  or key logger on your computer? Perhaps?

Not all can be found with antivrius right away. . Might report clean.

 

Been here since 2012..

Lots of possible infections reported and a few I thought came from here.. ended up being false alarm and not caused by LL. Ashal does a pretty good job watching the ads and such as well to prevent this type of thing happening.

 

This really probably should have been PM'd to the moderators / Admin (ashal) before posting. Let them double check. Besides that would also make it quicker for someone to see it if there is per chance an issue.

 

Finally.. I'd change ALL MY PASSWORDS AND LOGON if I were you. Just to be sure.

trust me, already done, unfortunately this ain't my first rodeo :/

 

already triple scanned (three separate providers), running firewall, safeties on the browser, etc etc.

 

it could just be a random attack, but, like any STI, I thought it best to tell the only other participant xD

 

Honestly, it was just before I left for work, and I didn't really have time to look for a mod, sorry for poor form :/

No problem at least your computer is as save as possible. Perhaps send a quick PM to a moderator .. FYI type etc to let them take a look as then might not see this for a long time. They are usually very busy and don't get a chance to look over each and every post.

 

The attack can also come from outside of your computer on the main Twitter page. Might not even have been from this site. I am almost sure Lovers uses SSH to log on especially with Facebook and Twitter..
