So, yesterday I finaly force myself to update my Skyrim to the patch 1.5 (I only lauch the game trought skse, so any update only happens when I lauch it on Steam) 'cus my net been realy bad this month and Steam isn't my friend at all :( so I always let pass by the first "rush".

Then this is what is happen to me now: Skyrim freezy five minuts after it load a save. ANY save will end up the same. A new game will freezy on the racemenu - its not even show.

I hadn't put any new mod and before the update it was run smootly on my notebook.

Can someone please inlight me what I have done wrong this time?

Just to let you guys know: I have a back-up of my data folder with just the game itself; no new texture, meshes, sound, only the original files and yet it keep freezing every 5min.

Any help will be welcome.

It could be one of several issues:

1. A bad update. Try verifying your files through steam.

2. Somehow your save game is no longer compatible or corrupted. <---to test this try starting a new game and see if it will work.

3. You have a mod that is not compatible since the 1.5 update. <--- to test this remove all mods (this includes any esm/esp/bsa files that are not vanilla) and remove the meshes folder (I would just move the items to a temp folder outside of the skyrim folder instead of deleting them).

It's a bug with the patch itself. I have no mods installed and just playing base game and it did it for me.

If you have the official high texture pack on then your gonna have a problem as it eats computer resources.

This should help, it's what I did and I only have issues in high battles area, like dragons!

Thank you guy :)

I got a easy way to fix this: removing the High Resolution Pack.

Its seem that the new patch cannot handly the official DLC!

Bethesda never fail to surprise me xP

Thanks any way!
