Sets00na Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 For the last couple of years, the Skyrim modding community, from both sides, made a lot of fantastic mods, from game expansions up to the animated blasphemies in here (I'm not complaining, I'm just remarking about this accomplishment), especially the follower mods. I believe that it would be a good idea to create a new landscape, merge all the followers mods, the best and most beautiful ones from both the Nexus and Lovers Lab, and create a new expansion like mod compose mostly with female NPCs and call it "Land of Babes", like that Duke Nukem game. So, what are your thoughts, comment if you like or dislike the idea. Thanks for reading
Delzaron Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 Not possible. 1 : Every mods have authors rights. You can use them only if the author allow people to use it. 2 : you will get lot of trouble to merge all the mods, scripts, etc... The best way is creating your own mod by starting from nothing. Other thing : a big space with lot of babes potential followers have no interest. You should built a story, maybe villages or a town.... Even Duke nukem have a (little and short) story...
freddark Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 You can do it yourself: Download a new lands mod like Falskaar or Nereva. Bring however many followers you like and go through the quests, if your computer can handle it.

Of course it needs to have a whole new story, if not it would be pointless on making it. And I don't think the mods authors will have any trouble on sharing their mods, I think. But the voice acting, now that will be a problem. Finding volunteers, and actual women to voice the characters.

First you need to create your story, the small world (dont made a big, a 5*5 cells need days...), some cells and NPC.
gooboo Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 If you want a Skyrim world filled with women you could try the Skyrim A Woman's World mod, although that changes the base npcs in Skyrim rather than adding a new landmass filled with women.

That's for sure, as I told you, DLC like quest, then sub quests, random caves, tombs, temples but not cells that takes days to finish them. By the way, is there any mods that has that kind of cells? Eeeem... yeah but no, the idea is an expansion like mod, with standalone quests, new items, new npc's, like falskaar or Wyrmstooth. Skyrim A Woman's World kills the idea and the npcs... well, they are not that good. You're supposed to be the alpha male among all the woman. Their worthy king. Like a reward for your efforts like having saved the world from Alduin or stopped the war in Skyrim.

By the way, is there any mods that has that kind of cells? You will need to duplicate vanilla cells, remove and add things (particlary NPC,) redone links... Small worls cant be copied. You need to made them from nothing. It took time. You will use days just for creating the assets. Its perfectly normal. Creating a very simple quest like the one in the bethesda tutorial take one of two hours, depend if you are familair with the process or not...

So, you will to create a lot of core and side quests, and to change some vanilla mechanism...Creating a very simple quest like the one in the Bethesda tutorial take one of two hours, depend if you are familiar with the process or not... Yeah, that's the idea, and about the scripts, well, I'm a noob in Skyrim modding, I know about importing meshes and textures from some other games like the weapons of Tera and BnS (Blade and Soul) and port it into Skyrim and modifying nif files, but if the forums shows interest in this idea, then I will dedicate myself into Land of Babes, because I won't make a mod if nobody is interested on it. It takes time, well I have time for it, but my current computer is dying of old and it doesn't handle Skyrim that well. but if the forums shows interest on this, then I will gladly start this, I will even buy a new computer to do this. Either way for starters, what do you recommend?
