Shadowhawk827 Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Quick question here. I'm working on a crafting overhaul mod. The first step is going to allow tailoring of unenchanted versions of all the unobtainable clothes in the main game. I want to add the generic clothes too, just to be complete. To get to the point though, I think i have most of it figured out, but when I try to set the world model for the clothes I'm adding to my mod, the CK takes me to the meshes folder. Great if I'm making custom content from scratch, but I need vanilla world models. How do I get them when all the Skyrim meshes and textures are locked in BSA files?
Guest Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 You can just type the vanilla path in the mesh explorer. If the path is inside a BSA archive the item will be got and saved.
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Yes, Bethesda has included *most* world models in the Vanilla meshes .bsa - if you need to unpack the .bsa's to get at them, you can use FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager?). That's what I use, and it's dead easy. *I would check first here at LLabs regarding the "best" version to use for Skyrim - I can't remember which one I installed... I just know that whatever I have works.
