Elgate Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Well, I guess i have a common problem, i'm stuck with devious devices. (guess it happens a lot here) But this time, there is a real problem. It's a collar from a quest. I can't remove it with key. Well shit. But thanx to my good friend the blacksmith, i got rid of it and i'm free. Awesome. But here come the problem: I'm dumb and i forgot it was a quest collar. I placed it on one of my follower and now i can't remove it. They can't trigger the merchant dialogue. Is there any way to save her from the collar? Maybe reset the actor inventory? Could you please help this poor rayya? She's sick of that iron collar.
lordhalmar Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 I don't know if it will break stuff but console command resurrect reset their inv i think. also if you remove everything from their invintory you want and then target them with the console and removeallitems them. Doesn't work with all item though.
Alpia Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 from what mod is it? if you dont know it drop one on the worldspace and click it in the console it should show you from what mod it is. If you have like I assume deviously cursed loot you can easy open up the mcm and use under debug the free me option this will remove all devices from you and your follower Other then that the cleanest way would be to open the inventory with whatever follower mod and simply take it away from her a other solution would be to simply make her non essential kill her and spawn a new one. Also something really important never try to remove devious items with the console this messes up the status of worn devious items, well removing with console could be used as last resort but really last resort
Elgate Posted June 21, 2015 Author Posted June 21, 2015 I actually tried to resurrect her. surprisingly, she didn't need to die. It only reset her inventory. I need to find a new collar to put on her and see if it's ok, but it seems like it did. Thanks. edit: Yep. The new collar is tightly in place. She loves it. Or does she? Thanks again ^^
Ammo12ga Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Off your topic slightly, but I have been using the pet collar in Lydia with AFT. The dialogue is incrediable. I have restraint boots on her, the collar, and the Leia slave suit. She hates it--or does she!!!
