Custom player homes prices missing from steward dialogue?

I see this a lot with player home mods where the price for the custom home upgrade is missing just looks like [...] instead of the price why does this happen?

My first idea would be that the price value becomes overwritten or maybe deleted...but I would need an example mod where this problem occurs....then I could take a look into it.

I can't remember any specific mod atm but I do remember some of them had no price to show for custom upgrades given by the steward of the hold when buying the house and upgrades. Could this happen if the upgrades are not scripted correctly? I am thinking the modder simply didn't add in some additional thing to something somewhere.

Upgraded Player Homes are typically that way and it doesn't surprise me at all.

Honestly though for the most part I don't expect much of Player Homes and in fact many of them have issues like incomplete scripting, broken navmeshes, and other issues that need to be fixed to deserve the amount of endorsements some of these wind up with.

Seriously just because its a popular mod doesn't mean that its perfect.

Well to me it just seems like there is some additional step to take in CK and they are all missing it somehow or a script needs to be updated but hearthfire probably mangled that script or something like that.

I seriously doubt that it was a DLC that mangled the Stewards ability to sell PC house stuff.

I find it more likely that you downloaded one of many broken house mods and that the author of said mod broke the common Steward Dialogue.

Here are some examples of Player Home mods that are popular that left in there current state have unresolved issues.

-Lunaria Tree Temple

-->Broken Nav Mesh, any additional creature spawns in the area that call on these meshes will cause a crash.

-Leafrest by Onepiece

-->Many activators that are incomplete and have unresolved scripts.

TNF series

-->Ditto of above

There is even a popular mansion that I already forgot the name of why?

->cause I don't like fixing broken crap

If I see unresolved stuff and issues in TesVedit well I don't bother with said mod much cause I don't like to experience issues in game.

Not sure what else to tell you.

Use the Unofficial Patches and check out mods with TesVedit.

Yeah I know but the default player homes really suck with fire pits right when you walk in the front door and interiors that don't match exteriors etc.

I don't understand why bugfesta made the exteriors so small unless it had something to do with exterior cell size limits.
