All of a sudden the male nude textures stopped working. Even after reinstalling MBP they still didn't work. Even installing a seperate male body replacer doesn't work. I have no idea why and I just did a clean install recently. 3 hours to uninstall everything, 6 hours to reinstall lol.

Yes I did run the Archive Invalidation about 10 times and the nude textures still aren't working. I re-ordered my lovers mods too even though I've no problems with them the way they were.

I don't see anything much different from your first load order to your second.

 

I will try to clarify what I am saying with examples:

Bashed patch.esp <---having it in the middle of your load order is useless. You might as well not have it at all if you keep it there. It is designed to go at the end of your load order. Only select script heavy or animation mods should be below it. The reason you may not be displaying male nude textures could be this right here. Move it to the bottom of your LO and rebuild your bashed patch. Remember NOT to include any lovers files in that bashed patch.

 

These two need to be below your bashed patch and at the very bottom of your load order for lovers to function properly. If they aren't there then things can get screwy:

LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp

 

Punk Stevo - Brutal Underground.esp <---this mod has been known to cause all sorts of problems with lovers and other script/animation mods. I recommend playing through its quest line and uninstalling it.

 

I recommend using BOSS to sort your load order and then adjust the lovers files by hand.

Is the load order acceptable now? Bashed was where it was cause BOSS kept putting it there. I re-ordered lovers plugins according to the list you linked. The ones that weren't on the list I just put at the end of the lovers plugins and male textures still missing. Female textures are working just fine though ;-/

Well, honestly I would have the lovers files down just above the bashed patch but they may work where you have them provided that the mods currently below them don't overwrite them.

 

Now to resolve your male textures problem:

1. What are you seeing? Are the males wearing the default shorts/underwear?

2. After you installed a male body (like roberts) did you rebuild your bashed patch?

3. Have you archive invalidated via bsa redirection after installing the male body?

4. Have you gone to oblivion\data\meshes\characters\_male\lowerbody.nif and opened that file with nifskope to see what it looks like?

5. Or is this ok it just doesn't show during sex.

Males are wearing the default underwear. I installed Roberts Male Body V4 I merged it into the bashed patch. After I rebuilt the patch I ran the archive invalidation. I did download nifskope and opened up the file and it shows the deffault lowerbody with the underwear. Don't ever remember having to do it before but had to go to oblivion\data\meshes\characters\_male\RT and choose the nude mesh for one of the body types. I don't ever remember having to do that before the entire time i've been playing Oblivion but it fixed everything.

Glad you are working :)

 

Thanks but why put the nude meshes in a sub folder while the default install is the default underwear? Why not make whole seperate folders for each body build and whether you want nude or clothed? Like I said in my last post, the entire time I've had Oblivion ,3-4 years, I don't ever remember having to dig through the folders to find the right meshes.
