Rapidmonster Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Past month I have had massive issues with downloading from LL... only LL. No other site. Literally this is what happens 60% of the time when I try to download a mod. 1) I download the mod 2) I wait 15-20seconds or w/e it is. 3) The download goes through 4) I look in my downloads folder 5) What I end up with is a 36kb borked version of what should be a 1mb-90mb file. I don't have a download cap on my ISP. I have a good connection(fiber). If anyone else has encountered this and knows a fix or if it is just LL. I would like a heads up at the very least. As it stand I have been unable to download 40% of the mods I want. I keep trying and I get the odd success but it's a real hassel.
monsta88 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I never had any problem downloading anything, the downloads work fine.
Josephine Loire Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Works perfectly fine for me, try another broswer, it may be that. Just checked, there's actually a problem in the site.
Guest Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I agree on the idea of adding always download mirrors. This will save a huge amount of bandwidth for LoversLab. Let me be clear: mirrors. The mod should be always uploaded also on LL. But a mirror to any of the free sharing files should be added.
Rapidmonster Posted May 28, 2015 Author Posted May 28, 2015 There was nothing wrong on my end LelouKun, as I said I can download most things but nearly half the downloads fail. Just because you downloaded one thing doesn't mean you've determined the problem doesn't exist. I doubt you just downloaded over 100 mods off here today, which I had to because my external HD holding all my sexlab stuff decided to fail. After I checked more I realised there's a problem with the site. Which was confirmed by a quick test but not only that the fact that other people created posts complaining about downloads not working. Anyways I'm glad atleast someone agrees with me. I'm not whining that I can't download things(I got everything downloaded but it took several hours to download stuff that should of taken minutes - because I had to retry multiple times in 7 different browsers lol). Just more making sure the higher ups are aware and a possible solution to this problem is mirrors on everything so that incase the site is bogged down people can still get things. I suggest mega, 4shared and zippyshare they seem to be the most hassle free sites now that mediafire has gone bonkers.
