Question about Sexlab Animations

Recommended Posts

Not sure where I should ask this, but figured the technical support thread was the best start :P

I was just curious if there is a way to use the human animations for Sexlab with draugrs, like without using nifskope or anything like that to convert it (as I have no idea nor the intention to put time into meshing/animating (doing textures eats up enough of my precious time :P (sorry, I know off topic))

Just wanted to add a bit more variety to the draugr animations is all, and figured that Sexlab would read the animations just the same as male>female ones, snapping the draugr into the male position, but when I try running FNIS for patching them, it throws a fit about wrong animations in the list =/

If it was so easy we would have already have done that right?

Yea I suppose, just find it odd that nobody had taken the original male animations and converted them over though, not knowing how it all works, not sure if that'd be the easier or harder route than making them from the ground up :)

Unfortunately the draugr have their own skeleton. This means they have to have their own exclusive animations created using that skeleton.

So, by that logic, if somebody could migrate the draugr to use the same skeleton as the males do (not sure how weird that would make animations, I'm sure whoever would migrate it, would have to create new idles and such for the new skeleton), wouldn't they just be able to work with the male animations in Sexlab?
