trepleen Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Will the following cause any type of seams in game? The verts are aligned perfectly to the edge. Note the red dots and how they don't connect to another edge, but those verts are aligned perfectly to that edge.
Vioxsis Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 If the weighting (assuming it will be weighted) matches perfectly then no, probably not. Well unless its on a joint, then you will most likely never get them to match. But if you have them touching like that why not just connect them together?

Just trying to save time, but ultimate you're right, that is the best solution and it's no big deal.
Vioxsis Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 That's pretty nasty. I would collapse the red verts. Really? I would connect them to the nearest vert on the dark grey object. That way the curve on the light grey object won't be compromised. Or i would just send loops around to match them up, if i was trying to keep quads.
