Contessa Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Alright, I'll start this off saying the game is playable, rarely crashes but I have some severe script lag going on and I can't decipher this Papyrus log for the life of me. I'm just wondering any kind soul here can peruse it and tell me what to drop and what's causing my insane script lag. It may also fix my bloated saves, because I have a save right now that's 10 MB and all I've done is kill the first Dragon. That can't be normal, right? Here are my logs, I zipped them up because one of them is 15 MB. What is causing this? Like I said, if anyone can look these over and advise me what to drop and what is causing these lags, please feel free. Here is my Mod List, if it helps: modlist.txt Here are my loaded plugins: loadorder.txt My Papyrus Logs: Papyrus Logs.7z
Gameplayer Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I shit you not your game will run a lot better if you take the time to learn 2 merge with TesVedit and Xedit Script. Stuff I merge I merge all land, houses, and places after checking for errors Merge all player looks type stuff Merge all Outfit mods Merge all MCM menus that are final or unlikely to break or be updated I check all of them for errors so actually a few things I wanted didn't make it cause I wasn't going to fix them. You could probably reduce this Load Order by about 1/2 without throwing anything away serious it will help load times and stability ---------------------- Some fixes, Gagsfx is already included no need I wouldn't use ACE-Realistic Combat Module, it's really cool by its lonesome with say some other popular script mods but my experience has been that it'll start slowing you down quite a bit with Sexlab Mods plus Immersion. See its a Locational Damage Module PLUS more, it literally is constantly evaluating the players present state at like 0.5 seconds or so. States like armor worn, movement, weapon drawn, and its constant. You will probably have to start a new game. I love ACE and it was a ton of fun, the Combat Module though that's kinda critical to bringing it all together...Havent tried to play ACE in just pieces but I never got good script performance with the C Module. You might want to ditch most of that follower stuff for a real follower overhaul like AFT, EFF, or even Follower Overhaul. -------------- I made my followers cool by using these. Amazeing Follower Tweaks Specailized Followers <----Adds some unique abilities to Follower example Jannea the Rogue/Assasin literally goes invisible and backstabs ppl...House Carls literally smash face with their shield more often and can do a massive ally heal once every 10 minutes. Mages actually do cool stuff and Companions shape change and call in animal support. ALL in One < cute girls mod Made a patch for that to work together in TESVEDIT. Then I merged them with Xedit Script. Then I added these cool mods that made every AI Fight better. Combat Overhaul Ultimate Combat Ultimate Dragons I know its kinda weird but those 3 in that order that'll make all AI whoop ass. Then I loaded in these OBIS <---I don't use the more spawns from this, also I had to extensively patch it to work properly with some other mods in my LO that would otherwise make bandits not as awesome if I ignored it, kinda hard to believe most don't and they think the bandits are hard >< Skyrim Immersive Creatures DFB Random Encounters ASIS Anyway with all of those basically I kinda need followers cause the AI is smarter, hits harder, and there are more of them. Healers Heal, ppl use pots, and Conjurers summon help. Also a lot of the bandits have special powers cause OBIS. Then all undead get a free RES, all Draguar do cool shit, and all special bosses get certain pwr's...Top it all off with 30+ Dragon Animations, and more Dragon Abilites it gets fucking crazy. Just trying to make a case that its entirely possible to make the game harder without much scripts those mods I listed all use form entries and edit stuff in such a way that they don't need intense constantly running script to drive up difficulty which BTW ACE does that, Ace Realistic Fighting is intense but it needs to be in the forefront you wont do well with other mods making constant calls.
Gameplayer Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Optimization Check List Time SKSE mem tweak <--Doesn't come turned on sorry OneTweak <---Plug n play ENB BOOST check settings against STEP WIKI <--This is not plug n play, STEP has way better info on this than the DL PAGE! Graphics Control Panel for TESV check it against STEP WIKI < many settings actually hurt performance! In Fact most ppl set those up incorrectly you want to re-check em against STEP WIKI ---------------- 10 MB saves are normal be sure to keep a folder outside of the normal save folder to stack these things in that will also help load times BTW.
Contessa Posted May 16, 2015 Author Posted May 16, 2015 I do have EFF, are you saying with that I could drop the couple of Follower AI mods I use? It seems like they may be redundant. Most eye-opening to me is what you said about the ACE - Combat Module, I had no idea it was such a resource intensive mod. I tried SkyRE/PerMA but I resented how they took over everything, so I've been trying to find a way to make my game more difficult with as few scripts as possible. It seems I made a mistake using ACE, It IS awesome and I love but I may drop it if it will free up a lot of time for other mods to do their things. Also I agree I should merge many more of my mods, right now I only know how to merge Armor/outfit mods as they aren't complicated and don't have scripts. I activated the SKSE memory patch in the MO executables recently, I just found out it doesn't work by just having the ini, so that's all good to go. I never understood what ENB Boost was for as I don't use ENB's. Is it usable on its own? Edit: If use Ultimate Dragons should I drop Deadly Dragons? Also should I have MO extract all BSA's or leave them as-is?

With the newest version of TESVEDIT and Xedit Script that's two separate downloads ok. < you can merge scripts now! As long as nothing is getting overwritten its a no brainer, So most all MCM menu stuff is like no problem to merge. The stuff that gets kinda tough is stuff that overwrites, you have to make a patch so the changes you want go through Like in the case of Specialized Followers and SBF ALL IN ONE, They both alter Followers but the last one wins...Thing is you might be able to just merge them, but I made a patch so they got their pretty face and hair plus all scripted abilities and perks! ----------------- If you want to get away from serious overhauls but have cool fights just download those three mods up above. --------- ENB boost doesn't do anything to make the game look better what it does do is assist in making the game run better. Thing is you have to look up your total Graphics Memory Allotment and Im not talking about the card ENB Boost makes your regular memory help the card. Anyway its a way of forcing the game to use more than 3.1 G Ram. ------ If you have a fast cpu you can force Pre-Rendored Frames, STEP WIKI explains that it uses your CPU not the GPU for that.
Contessa Posted May 16, 2015 Author Posted May 16, 2015 Thanks, I'll try what you suggested. I'm thinking the ACE combat module may be what's hogging all the time.
