NEW MOD BY POPULAR DEMAND!!! Player Home Tavern Music

_____

This was a mod I had posted some time ago, and I just found out that I accidentally deleted it -- not sure when. So here it is again. Maybe it'll get another few thousand downloads? LOL!

Quite simply, this replaces all the background music in the taverns with "The Dragonborn Comes" by Malukah. I take absolutely no credit for this, all I did was convert the .mp3 of her song to the .xwm format Skyrim uses and place it in the right folders with the right names. To install: Just extract the .zip file and place the data folder in your Skyrim main directory (or use NMM).

To see the song, go

.

Find Malukah's Facebook page here.

I do have the artist's permission to use her music in this mod; see it here.

INSTALLATION:

If you don't use NMM or MO, just download manually, extract the archive with whatever unzipping tool you use (7zip, WinRar, etc.) and copy the enclosed Data folder to your main Skyrim directory (where TESV.exe is located), overwrite the folder, then make sure you activate the mod in the Data Files of your Skyrim Launcher.

Just tried to look at the permission link but, the link is not working correctly.

It opens

dwm_2011.png (GIF Image, 1 × 1 pixels)

Which is most likely a placeholder for the Image, or a transparent overlay to make copying difficult.

Anyway not doubting you have Maluka's permission, I'm just reporting on the broken link.

Oh, thank you for pointing that out! I think I may have accidentally deleted the image when I was cleaning out some of the older ones on the hosting service I use. I'll see about getting a new one up.

Any update on this issue? I've been looking forward to using your mod for over a month. I hope you are able to post or host the usage rights for us soon.

I will check out your other mods in the meantime,

I seem to be very late to the party, but Malukah has more Skyrim-based songs, Do you think you can add them all to the mod? I would very much like to download it, but I'm afraid that hearing just the one song over and over will make me hate it. Since I really like Malukah's voice and songs in general, I'm a bit reluctant to do that.

Thank you.

I would love to download and use this, but I would not want it to replace all of the tavern music, and singing voices of the various bard NPCs. Would you consider a light version to only replace the load screen music, or ambient "out in the wilderness" background music?
