Crash after loading savegame

So I recently wanted to install SexLab and a whole bunch of related mods.
After having some troubles with the installation process I decided to start again. So I never actually used or saved a game with SexLab.
So I uninstalled all new mods using NMM and returned to the point before installing the first SexLab mod.
I tried to load my savegame, but it crashed after loading. It went in the game for like a second and then freezed. The sound continues after 1-2 seconds, but then the games crashes.
In the Papyrus log i saw that Frostfall was doing stuff shortly before the crash so I reinstalled it, but that did not help.

[Sailing Rebel]

Crash on load is very common in games using a lot of heavily scripting mods like SexLab, Frostfall, etc. It's not entirely clear what the threshold is.

 

Workaround: At the main menu open the console and enter coc whiterun. This will quickly dump you into a new game. Open the escape menu and load your save. Get used to this process as it will be required to load this game safely in future.
