From the looks of it though, I like the elvish ears Edit: So from what I've seen so far looks very good Trykz. The only thing that I'm not sure is an issue on my end..is the dark skin tones on both of the elves..have this kind of blush under the eyes: Both sexes as well. May have something to do with the textures. Otherwise you had a lot of variety to choose from..especially the hair lol. Keep up the awesome work

Keep up the awesome work Silvist, I would look into whatever skin textures you're using for the male and female head, or perhaps some of the video settings for your graphics card. The mod doesn't provide any textures for anything other than the ears. Are those textures from the same mod? If you could, let me know what mod your using to alter your character's looks, and I'll take a peek at it to see if I can replicate the issue on my end.

Trykz Posted March 17, 2012 Author Posted March 17, 2012 Great looking shots Veline I think the texture issue has something to do with Skyrim shadows. A few people have reported the same issue (usually at character creation or in certain lighting), but later commented to say it cleared up after reloading the game. I know there have been issues with Skyrim's shadows/lighting ever since the game launched, and many folks have been trying to sort it ever since. I'm looking into using some alternate textures for the ears, but I'm not really hopeful it will accomplish anything, as textures turning black in certain lighting has been an ongoing issue since the game launched. I get the same issue under certain conditions where shadows and low lighting are very prevalent, such as in dungeons. Except I get it all over my characters bodies. Under the arms, inside the thighs, etc.. I wish I could fix it, because I'd probably become outrageously famous for it

Thank you for your compliment on my screenies Veline..but my characters don't compare to the beauty of yours lol. I do try though..still not satisfied. Just so you know Trykz..your elves getting pretty popular. REN ear style, i'm guessing? also, i have a problem selecting hair colors, it seems. i can only select like 6 out of the defaults and the rest aren't available. idk if that's me or an error you might've made. oh and also, a little request: a pale skin tone, such as, the slider for the breton/nord that's all the way to the left.

[/quote'] Nemi, many of the default hair colors were removed from the list, because they looked quite odd with the custom skintone colors I added. There have been a number of requests for additional hair colors, so I may add the defaults back to the lists in the next release. However, perhaps a better option that may interest you, is there are now feedback reports saying the patched extended colors mod works with my mod. Basically, if you get the patched version from Nexus, you'll be able to select your own colors for everything. And yes, Ren style ears.... exactly I suspect the nifs I'm using for them from my headparts bin could be something he created for Oblivion. I have them fitted to the head in the CK, but the textures are proving to be a pain to change color with the skintone..... again

callimachus Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Just wanted to say that this mod is awesome. I looked for it for quite a while after it disappeared from the Nexus, glad to have found it. There is just one little thing that bothers me about it, it's so small it's almost petty, but what with me being a linguist it keeps bugging me. Why did you spell DawnStar with a capital letter in the middle of the word? Wouldn't spelling it as Dawnstar (in the same manner that you spelled the other races' names) give it a more natural feel? Spellings like DawnStar always make me think of commercial brand names... Is it possible to change that?

LOL..... you ain't kiddin' This (and all) of my mods were removed from Nexus after a disagreement with their site staff. But yes, this is on my (somewhat extensive) list of race mods to rebuild. It's got quite a few projects ahead of it though. So it might be a little while. I'd be interested in that Russian site link, as none of my mods are permitted to be hosted anywhere but here. Using it will likely cause all sorts of issues, since it was created long before the latest Skyrim patches and DLCs. I'd like to have it removed if there is an actual copy of the mod there for download. If possible, please PM me the link. Don't post it here on the open forum. Thanks, Trykz
