I use bodychange, but the neckseams just won't go away. I've tried UNP and UNPB, but they just won't disappear. CBBE, 7B, and CHSBHC doesn't work either. I'm using sg textures. It's a not a small seam either. The seams on the neck, hand and feet are very noticeable, glaring even. They're not really seams at this point, they're more like gaps.

I used to have the same problem with http://mitakusaner.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-383.htmlBut after bodychange, It worked fine. No more seams. Can anyone get those 2 sets to work normally? What am I doing wrong? Or are there something wrong with the costume files themselves?

Alright your talking about actual spacing between the head and the body?

Some body mods package their own hands, feet, and sometimes even a head (some use default head mesh).

You may actually have a packaged head, hands, and feet in your data\meshes\actors\female\ folder.

Of course these could have been installed by accident I cant tell you because you didn't mention if your using MO or NMM.

Im going to assume you don't use MO cause then you would know exactly which mod was overwriting and you wouldn't need to ask what was happening.

But basically that is what happened and the problem is that its not always just body mods that are packaged with bodies a good number of vanilla replacers also package a body cause the author is thinking he is saving himself time by doing so.

I'd suggest you use MO to avoid pitfalls, believe it or not but a lot of authors really are not very clear about precisely what your downloading and installing  and even then a lot of ppl don't read.

I suggest to fix it you remove the body mods

Check your actor\female folder for meshes and remove those.

Find the body you want install that and check to see if the issue is resolved.

Bodychange = mod that let's you use different bodies without overwriting your mesh folder over and over.

My character assets folder is basically empty. My actor folder doesn't even have a female folder. They don't even have any nif files in them. No matter which body I switch to, they all look fine naked. They also look fine in most of the armor using them. The only problems are these two armors sets.

would be easier with screens

some outfits don't have weight 0 or 1, showracemenu in game, and pick weight 0, then 1, that should get rid of the gap

if there's a texture seam too, that you don't have without the armor

open the outfit nif and take a look at bslighting, then open the body nif you put in bodychance, if there's some difference, copy paste on the armor nif (the hands and head probably use the same settings as the nude body)

The issue is that Armor's typically use an implanted body.

So your wearing an armor that is for a specific body lets say its unp.

Then you put the armor on.

Now your HEAD mesh is going to be whatever head mesh your body changer says its going to be (if the author even thought he should do that)

The other thing is how do we know if the author of the armor ever had the head lining up with the body in the first place?

So the issue here is

Is the Body Rigger using the Default Head Mesh, a Custom Mesh, and which body?

Then the next one does the armor work when used as intended?

This could be a lot of work.

Who knows if the Body Changer author even forsaw these difficulties.

I finally got the time to do some more research on it and try a bunch of stuff. Turns out it was a body weight problem. Having it at 0 gave those certain armors huge gaps. Setting it to 100 removed all the gaps.
