NiaticLabs Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Upon starting a brand new save in skyrim and letting all mods load in and configure ; then trying to go into the MCM menu in SkSe causes it to open the MCM menu I can see all the mods that loaded in. Then clicking on one, open that mods MCM menu however somtimes all the configuration settings for the mod fail to load. Then upon backing out and opening a diffrent mod the same thing happens. The mods are active, but Skse seems to have some issue with opening their MCM menus ? Anyone got an idea as to why ?

Here is a possible instance of the game needing more time to load up your MCM menu stuff. Example The title can be present but the options may not finish loading into the game for up to 10 minutes. Example 2 "But I saw options and now the menus are missing when I was adjusting things" The MCM menu system can only handle so many menu change options at a time, once the amount of changes has been reached it will prevent the menu options from appearing. Simply closing out all menus till your in the game world and allowing sufficient time to pass and then reentering the MCM should show options again. Its best to do so often with big changes rather than simply cramming every possible change you want in one go....Its simply not going to allow you to make every sexlab change in one go really.
NiaticLabs Posted May 6, 2015 Author Posted May 6, 2015 SkyUI sometimes fail to install inside MO, why don't you make a clean install and try again? I've reinstalled SKSE and Skui multiple times and it doesn't seem to remedy the problem. I'll try it again of coruse tho Upon starting a brand new save in skyrim and letting all mods load in and configure ; then trying to go into the MCM menu in SkSe causes it to open the MCM menu I can see all the mods that loaded in. I guess ill leave it open for around 10 miunutes and see if that does the trick, its wierd tho like I will click the mod in the MCM menu and sometimes when it DOES open the mod and i can make adjustments I'll exit out back to the MCM mod list menu and it just will fail to open another mod. But if i close the menus system completely and reopen it they all show but going from one MCM to another MCM causes a huge hangup as well.
NiaticLabs Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 Seriosly now, IF its not ONE thing in skyrim ITS ALWAYS ANOTHER.I swear to fucking god i don't even play this fucking game anymore i fucking configure menus and reinstall fucking mods. I'm at about 1,200 hours of modding skyrim and im about to fucking kick my fucking computer.Maybe 1,200 hours of modding a config and a whole 200 of fucking playing the actual goddammed game if it doesnt CTD and i have to fucking go back and figure it out all over agian.Whenever i open Skse/SkiUI (whatever the fuck you want to call it) and go to open a MCM it itherA. Opens works fine, then i have to exit all the way back to skyrim and go alllll the way back to the MCMB. Opens the mod list but clicking on a MCM causes it to crash and I HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY BACK AGAINC. Opens the MCM, gets to a MCM settting, change that MCM setting, go to another list in the same mod and becomes unresponcive... Fuck this gay shit. I cant take it anymore Anyone got any other solutions ?
Gameplayer Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Get TesVedit Learn that like watch the videos to clean mods by Gopher. Then go download Xedit Script This script is an automated merging process for taking say 40 armor mods and then instead of 40 esp's you only have one. Why? Because I said so, what that's not enough. Alright its like this every modder gets crazy on modding the ultimate experience and they want to load the cap of 255 plugs and make it all work well guess what, your going to run into issues at around 100 plugs and it doesn't fucking matter if that one plug is only a sword, the game takes a slight pause break before it starts thinking sword. By crunching every plug you know is good down to one you have sped up your game and it'll start behaving like you only have a few mods installed. I'm just not sure how to explain it any better than that you will experience an improvement. Also when your tinkering around in TesVedit, your going to learn to use "Check for Errors" function, Your going to learn that there are random mods out there that are broke as fuck. You can attempt to fix them, you can decide its not for me, or report it to the author and hope they fix it. You'll also learn about "Apply Filter For Cleaning" Disable deleted References (God so many trash mods out there need this) Remove Identical To Master Records, and also loads more like hand building a patch that will freaking work like its supposed to. After your brave and learned on that, you might decide to get real wild and just merge all your MCM menus down to one esp. After you've actually looked at the real records of house mods, locations, and all that crap you might realize 1/2 those guys did a shity ass job and know what mods to ditch outta your load order. Its the same with some follower mods Im afraid. Other than that you might decide like me that once you know a mod is sound your just going to merge that mod into a single big ass merge that holds like 100 esp's. I have a Load order that's like 80 total plugs but the reality is there is really over 250 plugs there. I've examined each plug that I merged, only plugs that I don't merge are sexlab mods I know will get an update sooner or later. My game is really stable and yes less plugs even if they all function as intended less plugs means less crashes and better performance. Other stuff you might need to do. Check out Skyrim stability guide Its pretty much a one stop shop for how to get the base game running great and ready for mods. Stop using NMM <---Pretty interface, bad manager BAD BAD BAD BAD. Start Using Mod Organizer.

All my visual mods are one big .ESP i can take and move to a new skyrim if need be(and i have) Armor and weap .esp's as well, the only thing i load indiv are the mods i got from here. Figured out every single issue i had with skyrim is caused by maria eden. Removed everymod i had and only enabled Maria edens depenencies and requirements completely clean fresh and should have zero issues and still broke my game. LT:DR M.E breaks the game beyond all belief.

Read the descriptions man they are there for a reason, a lot of mods are in alpha or are just built only to experience a certain kind of play like eden isn't about you playing skyrim, its about you being a sextoy and only that.

Yeah, ive been long following M.E and even have edited a bit of myself on my PC to try and get it more stable(To no avail) What was happening is older scripts from M.E. like 1.19 / 1.20 have literly saved into skyrim (even tho starting a new save) and i had to go in M.O. and manually remove them and a reedit skse files they fucked with from (foxclub / pony) because somehow they got imbeddled into the skript and it slow'd down Skse so Skse itself would take ages upon ages to load a MCM menu. I honestly have no clue how M.E. fucked it THAT hard becuase in theory it should be as simple as remove and delete. But with that mod i have ONLY had issues and this is not the first time i have traced some of my bugs back to that mod. For instance with this latest update to 1.20 it also broke "Customizable camera" and lagged out from "sexlab" itsself opening / playing animations, I have had nothing but issues with that mod from day 1.
