Saving and loading issues.

So I have been having this issue for a while now. Most saves I cant load from the main menu. If I try to load them the game CTD's. 

 

Now using coc qasmoke on the main menu and then loading the saves works fine.

 

These are all present in a new game and in characters before my current one. They were even present in my last installation of Skyrim, I recently did a wipe and swapped over to MO and used completely new saves.

 

I also get the issue sometimes in game when I try to load up a normal or quicksave the game will just CTD for no reason.

 

It has finally got to the point where it is really pissing me off. My Skyrim install is pretty big and takes a couple of minutes to actually get in game.

 

Any idea's why it would be doing this? This is on multiple characters. It even happens with my latest save that is only 2 hours in.

 

FNIS is up to date and has been run.

SKSE is up to date.

You should practice on making your game more stable before you start a new one go for performance over quality.

 

All honestly I just wouldn't do custom races always causes issues one way or another, do you need real shelter? Stuff like that find out the problems and work through them it isn't just one thing its probably many, have you checked through your logs to make sure it isn't a memory related crash?

I'm not using any custom races. Playing default male Nord.

 

I haven't noticed any signs of memory related crashing as it usually happens quite early on. What would I be looking for in my logs?

I used to have the a lot when i used heavy mods that were too heavy for my pc (stacking such mods can also affect better pcs i suppose), after removing mods that was known for being heavy i stopped getting ctds.

 

If i stream on steam and use quicksave i also ctd sometimes, depending on how heavy the enb is. I really think it's just a heavy load.

Have you used MO to make sure you have the old mods required for the save games, though?

I still get random ctd's, but they only happend around 50% of the time on my first load in from the menu now. I use really heavy enbs but they dont lag me in game - but they do however give me a 50% chance to crash on first load in xD

 

I used to have wet and cold on my other low end laptop, but it was one of the mods i had to say goodbye to cause it caused me to ctd randomly. 

 

Keep in mind, just cause stuff isn't making you lag, it might still be heavy on the memory :b

So yeah, it might just be trial and error until you figure which mods are right for you.

 

I wasn't able to use open cities and convenient horses either cause they gave me ctd's on quicksave and fast travels D:

How about reinstalling ENB and selecting a more memory friendly option?  If that doesn't help, you can always re-reinstall and go back to what it was.

So I have been busy the last couple of weeks and finally got back into Skyrim the last few days.

 

Started a new game after pruning my load order and I am still getting CTDs when I try to load a save after death.

 

My pap log is full of lines like this:
