Progressively worsening lag

Alright, so I am having an issue when I play where after only a few minutes the game will lock up for a few seconds, then go again. This will go on for a while before the lag starts lasting longer, eventually reaching unplayable levels.

It seems to happen no matter what and doesn't seem to be tied to a specific thing that is happening.

I've tried disabling mods to see what is behind it but for the life of me I can't figure it out.

Sounds like you have a memory leak, try re-installing fallout and all dlcs/mods you have for it and see if that fixes it.

Memory leak was something I checked for after not being able to pinpoint a mod.

 

This occurrence doesn't happen without mods enabled, but for some reason I can't find out which one it is...I've even updated them on multiple times and reinstalled them.

Turn your mods off in chunks (I usually do five at a time) until the problem goes away. Then you know what "chunk" of mods is causing the problem, and you disable then one by one until you find the culprit.

I had the same problem for a little while. The two things that fixed it for me was disabling play as attacker on sexout assault (I had an older ver though) and getting http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55061/? 

 

That resolved my issue when I had a bunch of mods lagging me.

Thank you everyone for your help. For some reason it was sexout store, I'm not exactly sure why, but I had to redownload and reapply it and now it works. The only lag now is at places with a billion NPCs lol.

 

But with all things, I found a new problem, though i think it would be wise to make my own thread for that.
