DittoSenpai Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 What are some mods that are required by lots of other mods? What can I use to organize these mods? Can I use MO? If I already use MO for Skyrim can I also use it for fallout?
Halstrom Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 You can use MO apparently but few people do, so you won't get much help here. You are better off using Prideslayers version of FOMM here on LL. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/17895-fomm-custom-build-0141113/
Guest endgameaddiction Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Yes, it's possible to use Mod Organizer with Fallout. And I would recommend using the archive invalidation from the Fallout Nexus site instead of the one in MO. Didn't work for me, but I am still on a old version of MO. Actually I always install an older version of MO for my Fallout and keep Skyrim using the latest. First thing is first. I would suggest getting the patches before modding. I'm not certain which fallout you are getting into. Fallout 3 FOSE - http://fose.silverlock.org/ Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/19122/? FOSR - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/8886/? New Vegas NVSE - http://nvse.silverlock.org/ NVAC - http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/53635/? NVSR - http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/34832/? These will help you get started onto your mod experience. I would suggest just browsing Nexus and here and seeing how you want to mod your game. And feel free to ask any questions in regards to anything that you feel confused about. We're here to give advice if you need.

Oh I forgot to ask, which fall out has the most adult content modding available for it? I just started downloading New Vegas bc I thought that was the one w/ the most adult mods
sila Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Tale of Two wastelands would get my biggest vote for Must Have Mod, if you have both games with all dlc Edit: with ToTw added any mod that works with NV will work in fallout 3 too, and you can choose whether you start out in capital wasteland (fo3) or new vegas

And everything is in the adult and sexout section. Can't miss it.
sila Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 New Vegas has SIGNIFICANTLY more adult content available, the FO3 version of sexout is still fairly new (or are they even still updating that?) With tale of two wastelands though you can use all of the sexout mods in both games, and there are some mods specifically for ToTW
digital_dovah Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 For New Vegas, Project Nevada, for FO3, Fallout Wanderer's Edition, for both, A Tale of Two Wasteleands(if you have both+all dlc, it lets you play FO3+DLC in FNV)
D_ManXX2 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Never play with mods on a first try. always play the game first so you know how it feels vanilla then switch to mods. If your vanilla game is bugged and you install mods you will never know what killed your game. mods or poor install.

If your vanilla game is bugged and you install mods you will never know what killed your game. mods or poor install. Though I would agree to a certain point, I have never played a vanilla version of skyrim or fallout. If he is downloading it from steam the odds of a bad install are fairly slim, I would however suggest adding mods slowly and testing each one, instead of throwing a lot in at once and not knowing which mod was causing problems. Also, there is a certain fix that will make the game FAR more stable if you have a processor with more than 2 cores, along with some other fixes that may be helpful, http://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/comments/1iaj6s/crashbug_fixes_for_every_fallout_game_for/
