Does anyone use OBS for recording?

I did a comparison test between Fraps and OBS I was just amazed. The 32 bit version showed very little frame loss and the 64 bit version is even better.

I use it for stream and it works really well. Very little FPS loss. Fraps is questionable. I know people argue that you lose about 5 FPS by using FRAPS.

Yes, I use OBS as well. I love it no performance hit easy to use and a friendly interface.. I would recommend OBS way before I would fraps

Fraps sucks the big one.

 

Bandicam is my personal favorite. It needs less power then Fraps or OBS, and it can do whatever they can do aside from overlays and streaming. So for raw recording, registered (or stolen if you do that) bandicam is the way to go.

 

OBS is a nice alternative if you don't want to steal or buy bandicam, but it can be complicated to some people, and being open source it can have a lot of weird issues with your system nobody else has had yet.

I use fraps but I don't like it because it does drop your frame rate. It sucks with ENB on. For me at least because I have a semi old rig with not up to date specs.  It's also only in game recording. If bandicam allows me to record in game and on my desktop for tutorials, I'll consider using that instead.
